(MC&EasyLanguage) Signal on Symbol1, Trade Symbol2 Possible?

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I have a strategy on Symbol1 (lets say the german DAX), it produces buy and sell signals. Is it possible to trade a Symbol2 (for example the FDAX) with these signals?

I have multiple data streams in mind. Data1 gives the signals and orders are send with Data2. Or can i trade Data1 only?

Thank you very much!

Buscemi

You can have a strategy on Data1 that is receiving information from Data2. I've done that for a confirmation..

You're saying you having orders generated using data1 that are then executed on data2.... hm. i'll ask my resident EL guru, get back to you

Thank you natureboy!

I've found another solution in this forum:

here

Have to see what is more comfortable, change the code from data1 to data2 or figure out how data1 communicates with data1 on another chart...

thx,

Buscemi
