Trading a Restricted Symbol

Recommended Posts

I am pretty new to trading. Last year I decided to try my hand in it since a friend was doing pretty well and gave me a tip to buy a penny stock.

So I ended up going with Zecco and bought about $100 worth of MIKP at $0.0013

Shortly after doing so the price dropped to 0.0001 and stayed around that area the rest of the year and received a DTC Chill.

The company said they have been working to remove the chill and I thought they did since it didn't mention it in Zecco. Now that the price has raised back to where I bought it I wanted to sell and maybe get an extra few bucks. When I went to sell I received the message "Symbol is restricted from trading. For more information contact customer service"

So I contacted customer service and they are telling me if I sell I could be responsible for paying additional fees of $200-$700. So that makes no sense, I just wanted to get my money back that I put into it.

Not sure what to do at this point other than wait til I am able to trade.:crap:
