How to Lock Thinkscript at TOS Platform

I want to protect my thinkscript at TOS platform, is there any possibilities for that

give a password, that available for some period of time

 

do you have a link , so I can learn how to do that

Hi Yohanes: I am interested in doing the same thing and have not been able to . Did you figure out how to password protect a group of indicators in TOS? I like to do so so I can pass them to others to use without them knowing what indicators are in mine.

This is a really old post and you probably have since discovered that it is not possible. Because of the nature of ToS and the way Thinkscript works as a chart scripting language only, the study code must be revealed and can be easily copied. The now available Share link makes it even easier. Unless your study where hidden under the "reference" it is there for all to see. I asked them about that and I believe that is when for proprietary reasons they want to hide the code and not for use by us simple folks. But then everyone will have easy access to use it anyway. So that pretty well says forget about it, it can't be done.
