My slow platform saved me money

 

On February 29, 2012 the emini ES dropped 7.5 points in the last second of the RTH it dropped from 1364.25 to 1356.75 and retrieved back to 1360.25

 

I had a buy order at 1360.00 with a stop of 2.5 points at 1357.50

 

The market took my buy order triggered my stop but thanks to my Trade Station slow execution platform I got out at 1358.50

 

Had I had a “fast” platform I would probably had been stopped at 1356.75

 

This is a one time I can thank my platform to be slow
