As an amateur astronomer I am very interested in the latest MARS landing.

 

I have 4 pics ...

I will post them one at a time with comment.

Unfortunately ,somebody has gone and posted a pic showing the punchline

Here are the other pics for the sake of completeness .

The second pic shows soil erosion probably caused by an ancient river

 

The third pic shows the landing site from a distance

 

The final pic shows ground zero.I expect this pic to be removed when the moderator wakes up.
