The following list of books are some of the most highly recognized among all great traders and should be read and reread.

My top 3:

* Reminiscences of A Stock Operator by Edwin Lefevre

* Pit Bull by Marty "Buzzy" Schwartz

* Market Wizards by Jack D. Schwager

There are no "must read" books for trading. You are gullible if you believe there is a trading book that contains something that a trader cannot do without. And no, knowing the Japanese names of candlesticks and writing about them in English does not make one a trader.

I would add Art of the Trade. More biographical than technical but I think it has the single most valuable "big picture" concept in it for traders. (Takes a while to get to it, but it's an enjoyable read along the way.)
