Red Dead Redemption

I am a very casual video game player, but this new one Red Dead Redemption really caught my eye b/c it's based on the 'Wild West' vs. some future/scifi thing.

 

I found too that if you pre-order on Amazon, you get 2 nice bonuses:

1) $20 Amazon Gift Card

2) In game bonus

 

Anyways, it looks pretty nice and is getting good reviews for any other gamers out there. Maybe we can get a few from TL online and create a TL posse.

I hate Wild Wild West movies and games, but this looks absolute amazing and now I've got a great gift for my dad who loves Wild Wild West movies.

Rockstar make some decent games. I only recently picked up GTA and quite enjoyed it (beautifully crafted). I'll probably give this a crack too. Mind you I play way to many games. Messing around with Starcraft II beta atm, Im pretty hopeless (currently).

I had a very busy weekend but got in about 1 hour of play on this thing and wow - it's very fun! What I like the best so far is that you don't have a rigid 1-2-3 process of completing the stages as you do in most games. You can wander off, go kill some wild animals, help some strangers that are getting robbed, etc. and then head back to the mission at hand.
