emg,

Good to see you back. Agree with TN above -- would help if there was a little bit of a discussion the 'why' -- I realize you don't want to disclose all your rules of course but sharing some tidbits would be good for the community.

Thanks.

He fades the range and adds until he either loses 4000 or makes a point. He may roll the dice 3 times instead of 2 and wave his hands in the air before he enters a trade, but it's basically fading the range.

Another very key part of the strategy is that when he's long and has lost really bad, to then say, wait, I meant I was short, and I actually had a big profit. This goes a long way to help eliminate the enormous drawdowns one would expect with a strategy that's built around averaging losers.

To see what I'm talking about, starting with this post, follow it very carefully at least until you reach Tams's post... http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/3/my-es-emini-s-p-500-a-7705-42.html#post95808

EDIT: And his reactions to the criticism shortly after say it all...

that was the best day. must begin $100K per contract trading in es.

u notice that time laps during the flash crash. Because i trade live, it is impossibe to post and trade live every second during the crash. However, if i was trading on sim, it wil be a lot easier to post every second.

It will always come back, but the day will come that it does not come back before you consume all your equity no matter how large your account and no matter how small a position you start with. If you are fortunate enough to have banked 100k in profits before that day, you'll be good. If not, you'll suffer.

However, i suspect that you are playing so you can simply delete your losses and all will be good again.
