NQ closed out at +36 ticks Obviously I left a lot on the table max profit about +72 ... I hope someone else caught the move.

A nice trade nonetheless - we typically have seen very few day traders land more than a handful of ticks here, and it is nice to see your success. 36 ticks on the ES would be 9 points - how many day traders have never once had such a profit on a trade. I'd bet many more have taken 36 tick losses than have ever taken a 36 tick profit.

Best Wishes,

Thales

OK I'll bite Long 6E 1.3125

SL 20 ticks

Not sure about PT

Filled at 1.3124

Update: New high on bar moving stop to BE -5

SL moved to -3

No new high SL moved to -1

I guess the good news is that I saved 19 ticks by aggressively managing my SL :)

Update Stopped out -1

6E "3 pushes to a bottom?!" Opinions?...

Not much loss of momentum on each successive new low, so I myself wouldn't view this as a "three push" pattern. That doesn't mean that a bounce is not immanent. But you asked for opinions, and my opinion is that 6E is perhaps mopping up the first of two or three lows before a significant bounce materializes. Of course, that is my opinion, and you know what they say about opinions.

In the end, the highs and lows will lead the way ...

Best Wishes,

Thales

added at 1.3322 and 1.3202 ...

That rally reduced an otherwise nice run to a small profit - +22, +12, +0, -10 respectively ...

We'll see what happens as EURUSD aproaches the HOD near the open ...

Hi Folks,

Time is running out to get our guesses in for TL's "Guess the Close Contest." We need 50 people to make the contest a go - and here we have 376 visitors today alone, and I know that this thread has had several thousand page views in the last week without hardly any new activity, so TL has many eyeballs but too few willing to "pull the trigger."

You know what happens to traders who are afraid to pull the trigger ...

As they say, "you gotta be in it to win it ...," and in this case, we need 50 to be in it for anyone to win it.

Go to the thread below and get you guesses posted soon!

Best Wishes,
