Eminis Australia

Hi,

I am BRAND new to trading - so new in fact that I have not yet even begun! :haha:

I have seen some marketing material from http://www.eminisglobal.com.au/ and http://www.eminisadvantage.com.au/

I believe that the software to trade costs quite a bit and before I commit I would like to know if anyone has any feedback on any of these companies, good, bad or indifferent - anything would be appreciated.

Thanks,

jonathanr

I have no experience with them but odds are they are a scam. I didn't get any further than the home page and I saw this:

"HOW TO TRADE E-MINIS

How investors can make US$500 to US$1,000 A night trading the E-minis market, starting with as little as $2,000."

First off, are these people "teaching" investing, or trading? They are two completely different things. You'd think these scam sites could at least put some effort into tricking the consumer. Second, don't expect to be making $500-1000 a night if you're starting with $2000 if you're a new trader. Any site that would advertise that on their homepage is shady at best, and that kind of advertising is no different from the banner ads you see that are selling stock trading "robots" that will earn you exactly $3,697,959.08 a month starting with only $100.

On a side note, if these guys are making so much money, why is it that their website is so horribly ugly? You'd think they'd be able to hire a decent web designer with all that money.

I quote from Eminis Global...

"It's just that I'm excited by the prospect of what I'm about to reveal. It sounds too good to be true, I know. But in the course that's to follow, I intend to prove it to you.

I will show you how you can take advantage of this opportunity quickly, easily, and without any risk."

...just those 3 words I put in bold make this a non-starter in my opinion I'm afraid, Jonathan.

Google chrome gives me

The website at Eminis Global contains elements from the site 21stseminarbookings.com.au, which appears to host malware - software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer.

Might just be innocent tracking cookies (if thats not a contradiction) but I tend to respect these warning.

WARNING:

I had computer problems all day today (hardware related), and when I finally got it to boot and opened a Firefox window, I got a couple of those sleazy "Your computer is infected with malware! Click OK to download our free malware elimination utility!" popup system messages. I'm not sure what happened as I didn't get anything like that yesterday after I visited the e-mini AU website, and there don't appear to be any changes made to my computer otherwise, but just a warning. If you don't need to, it's probably best to stay off those websites, and also if those two links were removed from the OP.
