Thought you might say that... but even on a tick chart it opened 15 points below resistance. That would require a wide stop and I wasn't prepared to risk that.

YES! as far as I can see! That would be great I guess for anybody who wishes to follow along, or just watch a chart without the need to register with a broker or open an account.

You just open a new demo account! FWIW I have never had too and I have had it longer but it only takes 3 seconds to open a new account.

1) I trade from experience and draw my lines through what I see/learnt through time.

 

2) I have never read a book on trading so no idea what the herd do.

 

3) I know your a wykoff fan and he may do things differently to me.

 

4) Not everyone is as amazing as me!

I would have been short YM or NQ from the open trailing behind my S/R lines and seeing what happened.

 

Hard to say as I have no idea on the behaviour of either but if it was FX I'd just be riding the trend and waiting for down line to find placement on the hourlies...

I'm just looking at it now and thinking what I would do if I was in a short.

So right now I would scale out at 1416 ES / 2015 NQ and move my stop on the other half.

I find it hard to say not knowing the market really......... stops trailed behind S/R but now I know its futures charting I will be having a butchers over the weekend at what you guys trade.

I also take note of divergences at important levels.

 

For example, if the ES falls into a selling climax and then makes a lower low on lower volume, while the NQ makes a slightly higher low, than it would give more confidence in going long on the re-test.
