You know trading is 90% preparation and 10% execution

 

I posted couple of trades yesterday, none so far today... but here goes:

 

DOW short 545.

Very very quite in this room, can see why you were getting fed up foale, if it continues like this, I shall not bother posting, I'll give it a week.

 

You have to keep things in perspective Dinos, not everybody makes 10 trades per day... I make one, two maximum, the rest of the time I'm a vulture waiting patiently to attacks it's prey...

He has got me interested in the e-minis and I may be joining you guys too soon once I have a few more days watching... I swing FX and generally always in back and forth all week but these markets look a good day trading alternative/extra.

I was stopped out breakeven on the remainder of my position

but re-entered at 540 now... still looks like supply is present there.

thx Buzz... I was afk there and noticed we ended up about where we opened today. Typical action after a trending day.

 

Hope you are doing well, I hope this week is the turning point for me where things finally start to go 'normal' again.

Anticipation of rates decision possibly, no idea otherwise

dax & cac crashing, ftse doesn't seem interested to follow suit (yet)

Easier to make money with E-minis and a proper trading platform than with spreadbets, and the 'no-tax' angle doesn't matter much until you're profitable.

Why the big fall this am....

 

It looks to me it's just a continuation of yesterday where we saw strong rejection of higher prices.

 

For the next couple of weeks I think a re-test of the lows is more likely than the DOW going back above 11700.
