Hi Dinos,

I used to bang myself over missed opportunities but tended to miss obvious signals during the day, plenty more time left dude. Patience and discipline are key.

Well, that was bad timing! Got out for -52 when I came back in from the garden, wiped out all yesterday's gains :-(

My main fault seems to be impatience - time and again I enter too early and then exit early when it does go right. Probably days early entering by the looks of this as it plunges!!

Hi chaps,

Long 12753 cash, swing trade - very small position (the smallest possible!) Target depends on my indicators, manual stop.

Don't I know you guys from somewhere?!

Hello all! Great to be on board here - thanks to FW and ST. A summary of my current positions:

Short DOW

Short FTSE

Short DAX

Long Gold

That's my carry over, but I shall post live trades as they happen. Good trading one and all.

EBG

Closed all positions, DOW, FSE, DAX shorts and Gold longs - wow - that went my way...

Well done! I think I have a bit to learn.

I notice the DOW bounced exactly off the upper side of my declining daily line from the top back in November, which passes through at 12590 on my chart, can it stay above this line?

DAX: Short 6,986.

I think it is generally down, and am positioning for better shorts, unless it swithces to up.

(ideal short would be 7,015 (low of yesterday)

(dont normally play indices, so bear with me)

EDIT: sorry. the LOW of the afternoon part, not the absolute end of day.

Dax is certainly weak...although a bit directionless atm

Longer term may well be down. leaving it alone for the minute

Ftse pushing its upper (daily) boundaries 6200 a target and strong resistance imo

maybe a touch and then down

Good to see a non day trader on here to round things out...of course finding a 'Trend to follow' not and easy task lately....good luck
