Uploading Images into Post

Recommended Posts

I seem to be having a problem uploading chart images (.gif ) into my posts on my blog. First I browse and get the file, then upload. Then I right click the url and copy. Then go to the image icon and a pop-up comes up. Then I paste into the pop-up. It looks like it works in the post but the image just shows the url after, not the image itself. There must be a click here or there I'm not doing :) Any help would be appreciated, you can see for yourself with today's entry.

Erie,

I only see the URL also.

Perhaps the opening and closing tags have to be on the same line as the url addy? Thats the only difference I can see between your non working tag system and others that are working. /shrug/

Erie - the problem is you have copied the incorrect link into the body of the post.

Delete the current link location from the body of the post and replace it with this link location:

http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/blog_attachment.php?attachmentid=143&d=1208004579

Ok, I've done that and it is still the same......... I'll try Db's way by putting a space between the c and h....

I stopped using IE long ago. But you ought to be able to get an address from somewhere. As for the chart you posted to the W thread, you have two https in the address.

Hey erie,

There are two https in your address. Are you deleting the one waiting in the image box before pasting the address? I have to do that. Dunno why. Always did at T2W too. Perhaps cos I use Opera.

That's it, there is the http waiting in the pop-up box, once deleted, then the image posts fine. Thank you Tune, another observant person. Thank goodness it was something simple :)
