Demo or Paper Trading for E-Mini Futures?

Recommended Posts

Before I get into this, I want to practice. What are some good sites or demos to practice E-Mini trading?

OpenEcry has an excellent platform. You can demo for free for 2 weeks and then there is a monthly fee if you are not trading live with them.

Mirus Futures (or amp). Free simulated trading using:-

Ninjatrader charts and order entry client software. - Not bad at all and improving all the time (charting platform of choice for a growing number of retail traders).

Zenfire data feed/execution engine. - Zenfire has a reputation as one of the best data feed/execution setups. Some would say they have taken TT's crown. Having used this setip in parallel for a month or so I can see why, doesn't miss a tick.

Seems OEC has a two-tiered system.

Based on posts elsewhere, they seem to charge even paying users for demos too.

Had to call them and get them to waive the fee after paying for a year myself.

No rebate, unfortunately, either.

Are you a special user, Brownsfan? Or does OEC do this just to weed out the 1-lot pikers.
