if you are interested in quick experiments in various analysis...

there is no better platform than EasyLanguage based programs.

 

i.e. TradeStation, MultiCharts, etc.

i currently trade with ninjatrader - which am paying a quarterly fee for - so would be easier

to use indicators within ninja rather than swap to a different trading platform

How do you mean you have a hard time finding it? Where did you look? NT's volume indicator is right there with the other NT indicators when you press Cntrl+I in any chart.

I too found the basic squat code to produce too many signals. Attached is code that I find more effective in some higher time frames.

I am sure the code is not very well written as I am still learning C# and does not provide everything you are asking for but maybe would give you a starting point. Also, you are pretty much on your own with it as I cannot really provide much support.
