monday 11-14-2011 is a BUY day. It will probally trade up to 1266 -1271 near the open and then trade down. Odds favor a down day for the day session. However, it would have to trade down within the first hour to 1.5 hours of the open of the day session. Otherwise, it may be an up day. Also the high may be made in the overnight session. If it is then one would be shorting the open of the day session probally below 1266 (if it is a down day) Only time will tell if it will be a down day or an up day but the odds favor trading down within first hour of open of day session. So, what would I do?

I would look at the night session shortly before the open of the day session and see what the trend has been. If in the night session it trades thru 1271 then I would still be looking to short but would wait for it to tank out... then short. My basic strategy would be to look to short. If it trades down in the overnight session then I would probally be shorting below 1266 and shorting soon after the open.

One other but unlikely senario. If it trades down in the overnight and the day session opens near 1230 to 1240 I would look to go long right after the open. Unless, it opens and right away continues down rapidly. In that case I would still short and would be shortly near 1230 -1240.

Much depends what happens in the might session and then in the first 15 minutes after the open of the day session.

Hope this helps. Again, my basic strategy is to be looking to short tomm soon after the open but depends on what happens in the night session.

Been a slow grinding down day. shorting around 1258 to 1254 right after the open of day session and looking to cover anytime now before the close around 1240 to 1244 is the capture of the bigger swing today. However, since it was a slow grind down I just did several scalps during the day. But the larger move was still there. In the night session I see it made a high of 1270.75 and after that just a slow grind down all night.

tomm 11-15 is a sell day. i would only go long if within first 1.5 hours in trades below 1143.00. In that case i would go long then sell on any rally back to or thru 1143.00

This Trade plan for SD ( BD Low Violation ) in Picture ?

WHY - SPY and IWM have other count or same on ES ?

Taylor very intresting, but my Enlish very bad for big disscusion )

How found day, where BD Down, and SD ( BD LV) big Down and not have rally. If we have this scenario we have big loss, if buy below Low BD ? Other variant we have BD Up, and SD big Up, if we sell above High BD and price fast move Up, we have big loss.

Ps. I see you use time filter

Other very intresting topic - What is Real Taylor Trend and where his change.

About Trend UP

How I understand ( ideal scenario ), if trend Up we have:

1. Up BD

2. Neutral Up SD

3. Slow Dn SSD

4. High BD or High SD create new ( high ) top

5. Low SSD or Low BD create new ( high ) bottoms

May be if previous bottoms ( violation ) we have change trend ?

In picture I don't know this is correct ( ideal ) count or not ))

if you played globex... you got the best of the best

this is the way i play taylor.... my buy point comes... only after a down day

which makes my buy point come on sell day .... not on buy day in this case

the downside is... if you only play trading hours... you don't get the best prices sometimes

last cycle... was a higher low ... not a lower low

... this time got lucky to get a lower low

( buy day low violation)

for tuesday.

.. a gap down to last monday low

... would be beautiful

... gap down ... or a crash down

taylor says close out same day .... if the run to prev highs comes same day

............. reason is............ this could fall all the way back down and make a lower low

    • Date: 12th November 2024. Market Buzz: Trump Trade Impact! “Trump trade” has boosted the US Dollar and US stocks, but Trump’s policies may have less favorable effects on global assets. Trump’s plan to raise tariffs is expected to negatively impact economies worldwide, especially exporters like China. Asia & European Sessions:   Bitcoin Surge! Bitcoin broke $90K, driven by Trump trade once again. Bitcoin is up roughly 110% in 2024, helped by robust demand for dedicated US ETFs, interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve and Trump’s cryptofriendly agenda. Crypto market capitalization has exceeded its pandemic-era peak, reaching $3.1 trillion. Traders are betting on Bitcoin reaching $100,000 by year-end, according to data from the Deribit exchange. Open interest — or outstanding contracts — for CME Group Inc. futures for Bitcoin and second-ranked Ether (ETHUSD) scaled records on Monday, a sign of growing engagement by US institutional investors. Asian shares dropped, alongside European and US equity futures, as traders evaluated the implications of President-elect Donald Trump’s policy agenda and potential cabinet choices. The MSCI Asia Pacific Index fell for a third consecutive day, driven by rising Treasury yields amid concerns that Trump’s proposed tax cuts could increase inflation. There are also reports that Trump is considering two individuals for prominent roles in his administration with track records of criticizing China. DAX and FTSE100 are down -1.1% and -0.5% respectively, after a pickup in German HICP inflation and higher than expected UK wage growth dampened easing expectations. Investors await the US CPI report for insights into the Fed’s easing path, as Trump’s inflationary policies may lead to fewer rate cuts. Financial Markets Performance:   The USDIndex continues to rise and is currently at 105.75. It hit a 1-year high. EURUSD drifts to 1.0620 and GBPUSD is in a sell off, currently at 1.2800. Oil prices fell after their biggest 2-week decline, amid a weak demand outlook from China, a stronger US Dollar, and concerns over a potential oversupply. Crude oil has traded within a narrow range since mid-last month, influenced by Middle East tensions, the US election, and OPEC+ output decisions. Gold remains under pressure and is currently at just $2604.36 per ounce. It hit a one-month low, down 5% since Trump’s election victory, as a strong dollar and US equity rotation pressured the metal. Gold’s decline was also technical, breaking below the 50-day moving average, causing funds to cover long positions. Despite recent drops, gold remains up 25% for the year, supported by central bank purchases and geopolitical risks. Always trade with strict risk management.
