...this turned out to be a good short.... except that it wasn't really an attempt at the high

....it was well below the high

tomorrow will be a sell day ... except that i doubt there will be a buy day low violation

it will probably be a higher bottom....

but Taylor does not allow a long there unless it is a violation

so unless you took the long today on buy day .... which was not made early...

... you are still out of the market

ES has traded up in premarket ...

an attempt at the high made early could be good for a scalp short

then if it trades down from there .... can reverse to long on this buy day

on this buy day ... it should also be noted that this is a high made first

... and a lower high was put in

--------------------------------------------------------

this is what happened on last buy day as well

... and sell day ... the next day .... turned out to be the buy point on a buy day low violation

if this works like last cycle

... where the buy point was delayed by a day as well

..... then you can hold and no need to close out same day

... although closing out same day is as per Taylor's rules

almost a buy day low violation

buy day was a high made first day .

today sell day ... want to see a low made first for a return to main trend

unless it can hurry up .... can still have a lower low put in on monday sell day

today ... no new high yet.... but very strong close

today was low made first.... tomorrow short sell day .... low made first will confirm return to up trend

on short sell day .... a long is permitted if it a low is made early in session

could be well worth a shot because a return to up trend here would have very large upside targets

today tuesday.... short sell day

high made first

tomorrow wednesday... buy day !!!!!

look for a low made first .... testing tuesday's low point for a buy

close today was not at the highs....

target for a buy on wednesday.... is tuesday's high if same day .... possibly higher if not same day (depending on strength of close)

also on buy day.... if a high is made first and early.... could be good for a short

today is sell day ....

----------------------------------------

... friday is sell short day

on friday... look for a short entry on a penetration of thursday high (or wednesday whichever is higher) ... made early in session

early in session just increases the chances of it being a high made first

a gap down short sell day is not assumed to be a high made first

so a long scalp is taken which is closed out at the previous high

next opportunity is next buy day ... which is monday

closed near the highs of the day

friday could see a small pullback on the 2nd day of the cycle.... sell day

...........................................................

no action to take on friday ... except to close out on any attempt at short sell day highs

monday is short sell day

have to hold on and wait to see if this closes near the high or low... for the day

if it finishes weak.... then close out

    • Date: 25th November 2024. New Secretary Cheers Markets; Trump Trade Eased. Asia & European Sessions:   Equities and Treasuries rise, as markets view Donald Trump’s choice of Scott Bessent for Treasury Secretary as a stabilizing decision for the US economy and markets. Bessent: Head of macro hedge fund Key Square Group, supports Trump’s tax and tariff policies but gradually. He is expected to focus on economic and market stability rather than political gains. His nomination alleviates concerns over protectionist policies that could escalate inflation, trade tensions, and market volatility. Asian stocks rose, driven by gains in Japan, South Korea, and Australia. Chinese equities fail to follow regional trends, presenting investors’ continued disappointment by the lack of strong fiscal measures to boost the economy. The PBOC keeps policy loan rates unchanged after the September cut. US futures also see slight increases. 10-year Treasury yields fall by 5 basis points to 4.35%. Nvidia dropped 3.2%, affected by its high valuation and influence on broader market trends. Intuit fell 5.7% after a disappointing earnings forecast. Meta Platforms declined 0.7% following the Supreme Court’s decision to allow a class action lawsuit over the Cambridge Analytica scandal. Analysts suggest consolidation around the 100,000 level before any potential breakthrough. EURUSD recovers slightly to 1.0463 from 1.0320 lows. Oil prices drop after the largest weekly increase in nearly two months, with ongoing geopolitical risks in Ukraine and the Middle East. UKOIL fell below $75 a barrel, while USOILis at $70.35. Iran announced plans to boost its nuclear fuel-making capacity after being censured by the UN, increasing the potential for sanctions under Trump’s administration. Israel’s ambassador to the US indicated a potential cease-fire deal with Hezbollah, which could ease concerns about Middle Eastern oil production, a region supplying about a third of the world’s oil. Russia’s war in Ukraine escalated with longer-range missile use, raising concerns about potential disruptions to crude flows. Citigroup and JPMorgan predict that OPEC may delay a planned increase in production for the third time during their meeting this weekend.
