Dynamites

Just read this post now, so obviously couldn't be there yesterday and err.... I also don't have skype .

If you were offering free advice on your method of scalping, would you mind posting some charts and annotations of your methods for us to view, it would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Can you post an audio recording of your last seminar ?

If not, I may have to ban you for spamming.

I agree - there needs to be more here than check me out on skype. I would venture a guess here that something is for sale and you will find out while on skype...

I will pay a visit... first, thanks for the invitation Dynamites, and second, feel free to use TL to add some explanations with charts etc... I am sure we will all enjoy them here... I am a scalper myself, so I will give you a visit ¡¡

About the scam fobia, we had some rufians arround lately, thats why our mods feel unconfortable with the invitation and no post here.. maybe one chart here will relax that fobia..

cheers Walter.

I made a visit to dynamites chat... very nice indeed... no spaming here Mods... good guy, sharing very interesting methods...

Going to some of his seminars would be a good idea as well... so again, lets not be alergic to good people that come with good intentions of sharing...

Of course I would encourage him to share eventually some stuff here at TL... that would be awesome... cheers Walter.

Well OAC, on this ocation I DO SUGGEST not to flag this guy...

He does not sell anything and has good intentions, also he has very nice methods to share... so I dont see the point of getting this profile banned...

thats my view on this case... we have to be very carefull on some particular cases... this guy is very used to make his teachings via a tradingroom... so he is inviting for free to his teaching... I dont see the spam there...

cheers Walter.

Yeah Walter we're watching you! haha

But yeah I am with OAC in that we are here to give everyone a fair chance. Because that is the point of the forum here..sharing ideas, etc....we just have to be vigilant when someone shows up out of the blue talking about an offsite chat room they are teaching trading techniques....

    • IMHO, the best feature of the Double Seven entry strategy is that buys and does not sell in equity-based markets. Large scale selling short in the primary stock markets requires a financed loan of shares from a broker, so it's less common than buying. Therefore, selling in a stock-tracking market generally isn't profitable--even where derivative instruments provide cheaper access to selling.
    • Another chart type... Footprint.
    • I would forget about tinkering with lot sizes in the short-term. I only increase my lot size when it's justified by my growing capital (closed profit). Adjusting lot size on the fly would imply that I somehow know the specific probability of each individual trade succeeding--which I don't. So, I focus on the overall statistical performance of my strategy over every 6 months. This doesn't require anything clever. As an example, choose a chart structure (15 minute, 1 hour, Renko, range bar, etc.) where price swings are identifiable to your eye. Load a MACD oscillator onto the chart. Note that there are two MACD's floating around online. The "old" MACD uses a weighted EMA in its calculations while the "new" MACD uses a regular MACD in its calculations. If you're using the old one, focus on the main line crossing the signal line and ignore the zero level. If you're using the new one, focus on the main line crossing the zero level and ignore the signal line. These are your entries. Your dynamic exit target is the opposite crossover of whichever MACD lines you're using. Now for the most challenging part... stopouts. You need to determine the number of pips/points/ticks at which price traveled against your entry and did not return in favor of your entry for all trades. These stopout statistics can be collected with pen and paper, which I have arduously done in the past. This is much easier if you can code, backtest, and auto-optimize the stop level. The idea is that your dynamic takeprofit is theoretically infinite, and your stop is fixed at a level that is statistically favorable to you. Although this isn't really "money managment," it certainly manages your money.
