I tend to prefer test and retest with lower volume. The sort of price action stuff you see here. You could enter at the retest or you could enter when price starts to move away indicating strength.

 

Here's an example:

That looks very good, but where would you enter ? A retracement from the large volume down bar ?

OAC, you may want to look at the last two posts I made to the VSA thread today. I believe they address this principle only from the long side. :)

Hi Kiwi,

Thanks, yes at present am looking at volume areas to be established, in conjunction with price,( as per your chart) then the price to test and re test, with intra day MP and order flow on MD

Appreciate your input as always on this and the other forums
