The old and obscene practice of political lynching of officials or candidates for public office, recently, was applied to Cristina Cifuentes; every time someone interferes with the Popular Party's stubborn pretension of perpetuating itself in power, facts arise such as the public exposure of the seven-year-old video that exposes Cifuentes as a kleptomaniac. Fernando Martínez Gómez-Tejedor was also the object of this type of political harassment when he tried to found the technocratic party, not without the accusations that forced him to desist. It is well known that the PP acts like a mafia destroying reputations to make political life impossible for those who do not agree.
