Prep and actions for the 26th, Sometimes I blow my own mind, I picked the trades, I just cant manage my way out of a wet paper bag. Trade 1 stop out was per the rules, trade 2 hesitation seemed like chop = exit, there was no way I was touching the trade 6 minutes after trade 2 exit, and I shake my head at trade 3.

Prep and actions for the 8th, no real trading reason to exit trades like a do, just used to seeing trades turn after a few points of MFE so try to lock in any upside I can.

Prep and actions for the 9th, whilst it was a profitable day there were a couple problems that really showed up why I am where I am. These are just two problems of a very long list.

1. Cutting trades short, I've seen so many trades turn after being +3 to +5 points that I have come to expect it and I look for any excuse to exit thus restricting my upside, I've even recently considered having an auto exit and forgetting about anything more than that.

2. I struggle to keep taking the opportunities as I see them when I am positive as I don't want to risk any profit I have. Whilst today was a better day than most, it was a day that offered far more than what I took from it.

I was not open to taking any more trades after trade 2 but continued watching anyway and was reasonably accurate on my observations, doesn't do much good if I sit on my hands when the opportunity arrives, I'm still the first mouse but these are things I can improve on.

Prep and actions for the 15th. A frustrating learning opportunity, despite the volume climax I was reluctant to take trade 1 as it seemed like a ret for another leg lower, I decided to track a short should it do that, which it did. The exit of 2 was motivated by not wanting to take too much kickback on a profitable trade, when PA failed to make much headway on the new low I bailed.

Trade 3 though.... A late entry always leads to me feeling the heat, with price pushing on the MP of an earlier range (prep) and the PA showing signs of a climax and rejection of the low I was looking at a larger up move from this level. The large drops to this point had me wondering if there was more to come, staring at the 10s I saw the DT and price start to drop on increased volume, I scratched the trade.

With bigger things in mind I got caught out by my small time thinking, its not all negative, I took the trades in the first place which is a small positive.

Prep and actions for the 21st: Prior to the exit of trade 1 I saw that the continuations were getting weaker on the 10s chart, my overthinking about this influenced my haste to exit trade 1. Things looked a little choppy after trade 3 so shut down.

Prep and actions for 28th, with the 2nd short and the long being scratched as PA was not behaving as I would expect, trade 4 should not have been taken. I was not paying as much attention as I should have been at the DT and as price rallied off the low I was overly suspicious of the ret as the volume was initially really high so passed on the long.

It seems as if price only "goes" when I am asleep at the wheel.

Not trades for the 29th, internet went down in the lead up to the open for 40 minutes, a mixture of being slightly tilted by that and trying to figure out what was going on meant I sat out. In hindsight I think there was a warning with price struggling on the weekly, daily and hourly time frames, how I would have done if I was able to trade is a case of shoulda, woulda, coulda.

Prep and actions for the 30th. Tried to hold a trade to a reasonable conclusion rather than just exiting cause I had me some points, the result of this stung a little and reinforced that need to bail out on trades at the first sign of trouble, which is frustratingly limiting. After trade 2 I sat out as the PA seemed to be whipsawing more than my tolerance.

Prep and actions for the 4th. Some good some bad, The first trade being a winner took some of the heat off the trades that followed, got a little chewed up trying to catch knives, sat out for a stretch as the oscillations were getting a little much. Got involved again in the afternoon as PA reached towards the MP of the Hi-Lo (a failure here could mean further weakness even new lows) but PA futzed around and my patience was wearing thin by that point.

    • @sxiqxx, Well done on making your first post a promising strategy. @everyone, post up if you want this coded into an EA. Although I switched to TradeStation, I still have an active MT5 demo with MetaEditor. I can code it without referencing object oriented programming which should be retroactively compatible with MT4. Let me know...
    • Please allow me to retort (in jest): RESPONSE 1 : Get a job supervising others where you're in control of performance reports and ride those others 100%. This makes your performance 100% with little to no effort.   RESPONSE 2: Feel free to piss off your boss but stay nonviolent. When the side effects of his viagra and testosterone boosters cause him to physically assault you, you have the legal upper hand. This can result in a boatload of trading capital.   RESPONSE 3: Feel free to have intimate relations with your boss if she finds you attractive. Rest assured that mum's the word because once again, you have the legal upper hand. This can also result in a boatload of trading capital.   RESPONSE 4: Don't be fake friends with any enemies... unless you need information from them. Being fake friends with everyone will cause you to become an empty shell of a person with no direction in life.   REPONSE 5: Get your boss to become reliant on your performance (really, just the performance of your subordinates), and then plan an "overheard" conversation wherein you fake an interview with another potential employer. You'll probably get a pay increase or a promotion.   RESPONSE 6: If you can give your 75% percent to a project, give 50% and rely on your legal upper hand(s). Learn to write trading algo's during your other 50%.   RESPONSE 7: Take all of the office boys out to nightclub where you merely sip soft drinks on a weeknight. Upon your return to the office in the morning, inform the security guards that all of the office boys are intoxicated. Your boss will love you for it.   RESPONSE 8: Never try to prove your client wrong or find faults in their processes, but do secretly collect their information in case you jump ship or "someone you know" decides to start his own company.   RESPONSE 9: Never stay in a firm for too long. Instead, use your ill-gotten capital to exit the rat-race and start trading.   RESPONSE 10: Trading pays more than your career. Interpersonal skills are now irrelevant. Use your technical skills for trading. Never stop learning and keep updating your technical skills.😁
    • There are a lot of trading strategies like elliot waves, wyckoff etc so we need to apply those who best suited to our need and are understandable too.
    • Scalping can be good during the high volatile markets however the new traders should be careful while entering and exiting the markets too quickly since they can make losses as well. If the broker support news trading we can make most out of the scalping in my opinion.
    • In my opinion these candlestick charts are more easier to understand as compared with the other charts.
