hi,

for forex, look for a broker that is offering a five digits account as usually that means ECN and spreads are below 1 pips or around.

If you want to trade actual futures and not just CFDs, then Amp Global, and Optimus Futures (who I think is a partner on this site) offer MT5 as a platform that gives direct access to the CME, Eurex, and other futures exchanges.

Yes, AMP is a good and reliable broker. Almost all FCM brokers and their IBs provide a similar service (the main difference is commission per side or per round, min deposit. Also, margin requirements, but commonly they are similar)

Quantower platform allows to trade futures with AMP via Rithmic technology with full market depth data (!)

You can try CFD on indices. You can trade them for example on Hotforex platform, transaction costs are similar to what you are looking for.

MT4 is good and will be good until their parent company keep updating the software, later mt4 users will have to switch to mt5.

How long have you been staying on MT4 and why don't you want to switch to MT5?
