LONDON Vs NEW YORK

What session do you prefer to trade ? London or NY.

I am putting up a poll so please vote.

 

For most of my trading career I traded the London Session. I live on the East Coast of the United States, so for me that meant waking up at 2 AM to start work. Except for longer term trades I would be done by 10 AM.

 

So, if you trade a session because that's the time zone you live in then just vote in the poll.

If you trade in the session because you think there is more opportunity, let us know why.

I predominantly trade London session and at times Asian session if there are structures I understand. Mainly this is due to my timezone. If I had a choice I'd be trading about 2 hours before London session until about midday New York session. The session overlaps (especially around the next session open) consistently produce the greatest bar ranges.

 

I'm probably getting old now so I tend to omit most of the New York session, especially in my summer due to the timezone difference.

London and New York......I'm in Europe so it keeps me busy the whole day.....London in the morning and afternoon and NY in afternoon and evening

I prefer half the later Asian and then the full London session...New York session is much too a mess...
