I played the overnight gap right. I made a judgment call on the news which overpriced the markets and it was a good thing to do, even with 6 contracts I made a fair profit. I didnt follow my plan 100%, my actions show that I followed my plan about 80% the difference one more hour of holding would have made. I can improve by adjusting my stops to allow myself to stay in, and make them timebound, looking back, I see that the retracement on which I exited was not powerful enough for me to take an exit, and it prevented me from making another 1000 or more.
