Just for those who dont yet know of this acquisition. Prior to google, yahoo and apple were in contention of acquiring this tool.

 

Waze is a mapping tool bt unlike other mapping tools its users can interact with each other in a locality and shares statuses like (Street G-3 Busy or road blocked on blah blah Avenue etc).

This acquisition could make Google a king in the mapping industry with interacting maps all across the globe.

The acquisition fee was i think around 1.3 Billion Dollars.
