Hi, I wonder if you can help me. I'm looking for a source of historical data for 1 min intraday spot silver prices. Ideally prices I can match to Kitco spot prices which they tell me are derived from "New York Spot Market and the CME Globex market." There seem to be numerous sources of data for shares and currency exchange rates. If found a few sources of commodities futures however these don't provide a direct comparison as far as I could see. I did find one potential source. INO.com. However after downloading their data I noticed the historical values for a given date and time were changing from one day to the next and I couldn't get them to explain why. It also seemed to miss the wide swings shown on the Kitco graphs. I appreciate there will be differences in the way spot price is calculated depending on the source. However these were 20 to 30 point differences. I concluded there might be some averaging over time going on. My aim is to get the data into an excel sheet to analyse mathematically.

The Spot Exchange Rate differs from some other methods of currency valuation in that it is meant to measure the current value of the currency. This differs from a futures contract, which assigns value for a later date.
