I played the overnight gap right. I made a judgment call on the news which overpriced the markets and it was a good thing to do, even with 6 contracts I made a fair profit. I didnt follow my plan 100%, my actions show that I followed my plan about 80% the difference one more hour of holding would have made. I can improve by adjusting my stops to allow myself to stay in, and make them timebound, looking back, I see that the retracement on which I exited was not powerful enough for me to take an exit, and it prevented me from making another 1000 or more.

Hi all, I have recently started looking at the NQ as an instrument to trade and have a couple of questions. The size on the bid/ offer is relatively small ( I don't think I have seen more than 20 to 40 contracts a side since I started looking at it) and the depth of the book is only two prices deep. Does this mean that these orders are iceberg orders and you could do much larger size there if required? And is the order book really only two deep? Thanks for any help.
