I'm not a trader yet. I'm in graduate school working on a PhD. in finance. Some of the theories mentioned in this forum may be helpful in my studies and research. Be assured if I use any of the ideas here in my dissertation, credit will be given to the author accordingly.

Have you tried this with other instruments on different timeframes? I think you're really on to something powerful here and it may have great potential. Have you conducted any backtesting? Great stuff. Love this forum, too. Definately the real deal. Ty James for creating this state-of-the-art forum and letting me participate.

Was I the only trader caught by surprise by today's swift downdraft? Just when I was starting to get comfortable with the Bernake effect (and having decent success with my setups), this thing slaps my head. Fortunately, I was smart enough to step aside after the first stopout.
