Hi Walter, Pyenner and all. Just wanted to say that the intitial ikon trade first described in this thread by Walteris a solid method.... But the introduction of the timing optimisation turns a solid method into a piptastic method. Kudos to you walter and pyenner. Simple, effective, and powerful. Today I traded ikon basic for pips on the pound yen (easy peasy) as we say here in Blightly. I dare to say it but... Walter theory is over for you .... now put it into practice because you have a killer system here. Times a wasting. P.S Does that now mean we can do away with green ma and black baseline vma. I use vma this morning to detect bounceof resistance namely the channel (ala SRDC 2 method) Flattening out of vma on 15 min chart was my trigger to initiate possible entry.http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7AYF9QGS. Dropped down to 5 min to observe price action. Waited for 21 sma our trendsetter ( white ma) to cross vma and then enter on the close of penetrating candle. Hi Walter. Just like to wish you all the luck in your forex adventure. I forsee succcess ahead of you especially with the use of the VMA. Success in Forex comes from dilligent research and then almost robot-like execution. You have been most dilligent in your VMA reseach and your explaination of its execution has been first class. The VMA horizontal has become a mainstay on my charts using my system. Thanks again. I hope I can return the favour some day by making any useful additions (not that I think it needs any).
