Hello Traders, I am new to the Lab and have really appreciated to posts I've seen. My question regards the use of a data provider. I am wanting to do some heavy backtesting using SharkIndicators (Bloodhound add on to NinjaTrader). On some of my backtesting I am going to be using Range and or Tick charts so I am needing ALL data to be available! When looking for a data provider do I need to ask whether the data is FILTERED or UNFILTERED? I have been talking with MB Trading and they offer free data when opening up an account and using them as a broker for futures. As far as the best data for the best price, are there any providers you all can recommend? Thanks for your time, JTR

Frank, I've just discovered your post today and have found what you've written to be so helpful. Thank you so much. I am in the process of getting started with SharkIndicators, just reading your posts have helped my understand the functionality of SI so much better.
