That's great while the market is moving up. Holding my cash positions long-term but trying to determine a strategy for selling off margin positions during extended down-trend 10,20,30 percent.

this was a great year and I did very well holding several Vanguard ETFS. this is my sandbox account and I'm trying to maximize my profits. I'm trying to develop a long-term strategies moving forward for moving in and out of my margin accounts. Any thoughts?
