  1. Start buying on bottom and gradually build position as it moves against you cuz the bottom has to be somewhere near current levels. Coup was supressed so I think nothing threatens stability of turkish economy. Opened another two 0.03 lot bids on lira with Hotforex lets see how it goes.
  2. It is impossible to trade news with retail forex brokers because they are market makers and won't take execution risks from client to themselves. You will in 90% cases receive slippage and miss major part of potential profit, run against bounces and pullbacks.
  3. Yeah you can considering gloomy outlook on world growth and speculations that recession will soon hit Europe and maybe UK as well. You can start will small positions building them gradually as it moves in your favor. It is my strategy I use with Hotforex.
  4. Can you suggest me some videos to learn forex trading (news trading particularly). Thanks.
  5. Of course its safety of funds. I picket Hotforex broker for trading because it offers segregated accounts and well-regulated. there are so many scams in the internet so you have to keep an eye on their safety background.
  6. Made 300$ on NFP with Hotforex. Had sell stop order on GBP/USD, executed without slippage but had platform lag on the close. Thankfully price followed in my favor so I had time to keep it in profit. Happy as a king.
  7. How can I install indicator to my Hotforex platform? Thanks.
  8. For volatility better to go in forex trading. Make 40-50 pips daily with Hotforex on pound now, trading from S/R levels, they work better than ever now.
  9. I thought this thread will be flooded with bumps on post-brexit predictions, but strangely enough its so quieeet..
  10. I'd really try your strategy cuz it looks simple and legit, no sophisticated stuff or complicated calculations. Is it applicable in currency trading, what do you think?
  11. I think any broker is suitable for broker, unless its complete scam market maker that rips off even newbies with their 40-50$ of deposit. My first choice was Hotforex I still hold account there and place some swing trades, its a perfect broker for FX with good liquidity, excels exchange regulated brokers in some points. As I'm futures trader and Hotforex supports only CFD I use exchange accredited brokers, but as I said Hotforex is a great pick for currency traders.
  12. Hey Hotforex I would like to know about margin requirement for GBP and UK equities ahead of Brexit, have they been increased? Didn't get any email about that.
  13. Yeah and 99% of newbies run out of steam grabbing pip by pip they want more and get it now. That's the main psychological drawback that hold them back from winning path. Thankfully I managed to cope with that weakness and now trade consistently in profit with Hotforex
  14. Which stock are you talking about? you can check their trading specifications there https://www.hotforex.com/hf/en/trading-products/trading-instruments.html They have only major stocks and indices available for trading so called "blue chips"
  15. Well in delicate questions they refer to their technical support which will provide detailed answers. Basically chat reps are for basic questions.
  16. Nice must-have list. Actually I use VPS with my Hotforex platform running scalping EA so can cross out some of the items from your list. But for newbie starting with manual trading, everything you mentioned is crucial.
  17. Thanks for input it should really be helpful for newbies on their path to successful forex trading. I'd add that reliable broker choice is like a finishing feature which ensures you won't stumble upon an issue in your trading from the angle you couldn't expect. Personally I go with Hotforex, you can also check them, but do your own due diligence as brokers are quite difficult to choose
  18. Me too, those skrill verification and sudden money hold pisses me off. Submitted my docs several times, still they ask me to send some proofs other ID documents.. That's crazy
  19. I use Skrill with Hotforex for in/outs works fine 2-3 hours for withdrawal, instant deposit. If I remember there i 1% fee for withdrawal rest is free. Btw doubt you can find anything better, before I was using webmoney it has 0.8% fee but withdrawals are processed longer there.
  20. Can I use this system with MT4? I work with Hotforex and FXCM.. NinjaTrader just lacks some critical features I need in platform..
  21. What about current situation with EUR/USD. Any forecasts?
  22. What do you mean under short calculation? You mean consulting with Janne for 30-40 minutes (read it somewhere but don't remember where)
  23. I think the core problem is to find reliable trading platform that won't cheat you, show fake charts, give fake spreads and in other mean ways make earnings there impossible. After thorough testing and learning by my own painful mistakes I found Hotforex platform this month it's been 3 years I'm with them, that's really wonderful place to give development to your talents and aspirations. Trading is most challenging and engaging hobby and work I could wish to have in my life.
  24. Here is basic knowledge and "training kit" you should be equipped with before setting out the journey: Complete Trading Education- Forex Military School | Forex Peace Army - Your Forex Trading Forum - FPA Military school https://www.hotforex.com/hf/en/account-types/hotforex-demo-account.html - demo platform School of Pipsology | Learn Forex Trading another wonderful education place. Good luck!
  25. Is there any "ready" MT4 EA to test it on demo or live account? Couldn't find it in the thread..:crap:
