An indicator is not going to make you a complete trader in my opinion. I do not use market profile though, so I am not a good person to opine.

Knowing what type of animal you are is great for storytelling, but in the reality of trading the markets do not care and will take your money just the same.

Profits or Loss - Keep Your Self Up.

This is a question that alludes many I think. When a losing trade occurs one must deal with it their own. On every trade that I make whether it is successful or unsuccessful I forget about it after it is over. If I have a bad day I like running on the beach, hitting a punching bag, or playing basketball. Clear the head, so when I come back I have no presuppositions about the market. -
I think the best market analogy is that it is an ocean. We would be different creatures depending on our trading ability. Perhaps the little fisherman who gets tanked by a wave, or a shark that does prey upon opportunities.

I have never used ninjatrader, but to get filled in live trading the market usually needs to trade a tick into your entry. If this is happening, then your style is working. I would say that it is unrealistic to not expect a losing trade, but sounds like you are on the correct path.

I think the better question is what style of trading do you like best? Every trader has a certain style that they will do better at, and that is what you should be looking for. Pretty much all types of trading money can be made, but what you enjoy most will give you the most fulfillment.

I like keeping track of trading days, whether you call it a diary or a journal is inconsequential. I think it is important to document the days happenings as a way to improve yourself. Every trader has room for improvement, and that is what separates professionals from non-professionals in my opinion.
