what's written above sounds like price action to me

in the end they (ECB and other central banks) will have to choose between two evils.......higher yields or higher currency........my opinion is higher currency will win.......hence a strong euro on the long term

Playing Strong Currencies Against Weak Counterparts

I agree with the article overall....however, taking in account COT is one things, but should consider the fact that data is not generalized.....it only belongs to that respective broker -
such a question, such an answer...

being more technical and using SL is just a way to detach emotions when trading.........hey, I appreciate the insights given on the original post of this thread, but let's'not complicate things.....simple things work best.......use clear examples and normal words for everybody to understand and it should have more success... but again, maybe it's just me

well, how the heck should I say this.......it must be me, but I find this psychological thing kind of useless.........been trading more than 7 years now and nothing there I can use......maybe reread for the 10th time "Reminiscences of a Stock Operator"

hi there, cheers, for a your person, like you describe yourself, you seem to know a hell of a lot about trading........so I guess most of the questions you are asking have the answer in your head already.......real question is, do you need confirmation from somebody else? anyways, welcome and hope to see more about your ambitious project -
as crazy as it seems, you must look for your margin though

I wouldn't call him a pussy (the trader I mean), but I agree with the overall arguments. Trading without having ups and downs is not trading. There is nobody in this world who is just winning. The key is to constantly be profitable on the long run. You might have a positive month, but that outcome to be formed out of many loosing and winning streaks. Win more than you lose, that is the key.

why on earth would you trade without a SL?.....recipe for failure.......after all, there is nothing better than a fresh start

while I agree with the overall article, the problem stays here, IMHO: " When the trade is initially established, the short option will be out of the money and have a delta of lower magnitude than the long option. If the underlying stock moves quickly and extensively in the desired direction, it is possible for the delta of the short option to outpace that of the long option and even lead to a losing trade. This is the same problem seen in a horizontal spread"

the fear is about the implications a possible closing of Suez canal will do to the overall oil market (transport costs if Suez cannot be crossed) and probably that is the reasoning for the spike higher.........at least fundamental
