I am a fundamental investor, happy with that and never really used much technical trading software. I usually hold Canadian mining stocks and some stocks traded only in Hong Kong and Singapore. But recently got curious about cycle analysis, so would like to know if some software may be able to do this cycle analysis and provide alerts (email?) when something important is really occurring so that I do not need check it all the time. If it alerts me one or two times in a year for each stock, it is enough. If some other important indicators are included, perhaps even a contrarian indicator, much better. If something like that does not exists it may be possible to modify some open source software. I am not a programmer, but am willing to pay for help and to publish any result.
