Aye! Aye! Well maybe this is really what matters. Do not look for the best advice/strategy (but it sure better have one)/time/stop call - as long as you are comfortable -> you go on. Don't be an addict and don't trade with headache, hunger, no sleep etc.. These should be your indicators. You.

Well I have some experience trading with 3 brokers, with all of them I have remained dissatisfied. Problems: execution is very slow and horrible on the re-quotes. Then: too often price reaches stop loss and then goes back, but nothing like that with take profit. The rest is secondary, the main thing - trading problems. This is my question as well - does is it work like this with all FX brokers or maybe there are better brokers? I would join TS and will be glad to hear some feedback from you, based on your personal experiences with different brokers.

Best time is during London & US market overlap between 13:00 GMT to 16:00 GMT. These are the most liquid hours and when most of the traders are creating action. It doesn't matter where you are, just learn how to convert GMT to wherever you are. Good luck!

It seems to me that we all can make this thread 20 pages long and even after that won't come up to any conclusion at all..

Here is a question for you: is being flexible and having discipline can go side by side with each other?

Btw, Neteller anyone?

No problem there. You can order your own credit card as well. Good way of withdrawing at ATM (with limits), paying at POS and generally having different account, if you don't want show up transactions on your bank statement.

Are you in favour of "enough is enough" or not? Because if he can pay rent with 10 pips a day, in his situation he should catch the moment, but you say "take a break". Or did I misunderstood your message?

It's better to tell the truth all the time and just to refrain to say anything rather than a lie. But if it's unavoidable to be silent, you can mask your truth with political correctness. This gives you territory to maneuver in the latter discussion and you are not strictly lying.

You should initially enjoy what you are doing. After that hit the play on your favorite playlist and start trading. If you do what you like and enter "the flow" that's how you enjoy trading

Honestly, I think if you call it a day, then forget and don't come back. Even if you come back and see an opportunity, as it was in your case, just close it and forget it. The reason is - you will train your discipline and habit to listen to yourself and these traits are more important for the trader, than little immediate gain from the market. So yes, you might gain some pips in a moment, but you will lose more in the long term by not having discipline..

Do We Really Need Strategy to Max. Our Profit?
MaksymGra replied to wmck6167's topic in Trading Psychology
But why should we hold up for investment for 13 years? I think you must try strategies now and then, but stick to few of them and try them for longer periods of time, rather than jumping every day or week and using 100+ signals weekly/bi-weekly/monthly. -
This. Technical is about short-term fluctuations and seeing some pattern how strong is the "storm". But market reacts to news and that's why priority always must go to fundamentals. Well, obviously you must have logical and analytical abilities to profit from it. I think you are better off with fundamental analysis if you want to take larger profits.
-
Well, I personally think that the combination of both must be used. But with gravitation towards fundamental analysis. Technical must be more like making steps or choosing your speed and changing gears in the car, while fundamental is more about choosing direction and turning the wheel. You know how fast (high) or slow (low) you can go, but you must pay attention to the road (news) and make your choices accordingly. I'm more in favor of sidra position. More than half of fundamental and less than half of technical.
