Floor Pivots Calculation Also have to add that floor pivots are calculated on H,L,C of the session and not the 24h daily values.

External Fibonacci Cluster Identification Tool
Sparrow replied to Sparrow's topic in Trading Indicators
No, it's a small windows application. It's not perfect by any means. -
I wrote this application a few months ago but it's not very sophisticated. The program calculates fibonacci confluence based on the input of several fibs. Maybe someone can find some value in it. It requires .net installed but that should be all you need. If someone is interested I can provide the source code. Cheers FibonacciCluster.zip

Here are the indicators, I made the ZerolagStochs more Ninja, looks like a MT4 port. It should only improve performance but look the same. All exported from NT 6.5 Cheers ZerolagStochs.zip DinapoliStochastics.zip

James, Unfortunately, I still get the same reply in the header, thanks for your effort though. -
.PNG's insist on downloading in Firefox #2

Soultrader, Everything is fine with the files itself, the only problem is that clicking on the download link open's the save dialog. This could be avoided if the mime type was set, changing the other settings is not necessary. Cheers -
.PNG's insist on downloading in Firefox #2

Setting the mime type to image/png should resolve it. Here's a link to the docs, I hope I found the right one. Cheers -
Hiya all, First off I really love this forum, thanks to SoulTrader and all the other contributors. Since the previous thread has been closed I couldn't post there. As far as I know IE guesses/computes which kind of attachement it is dealing with if the mime type is not set. FF doesn't do that. To fix this the mime type needs to be set by the server, otherwise only client side workarounds can be used. Here's a demonstration what the header reply looks like for 2 different attachements: JPG PNG Unfortunately I don't know anything about VB so I can't say if this can be fixed and how much work it would be. Cheers

Hi guys, I've updated the indicator to use live ticks after the time it is loaded on the chart, any changes made to it afterwards will make it recalculate and revert to the median approximation though. You need to set CalculateOnBarClose to false of course. It doesn't really help with the midas system, because of chosing pivot points after they appeared on the chart. Using FX data, the approximation version didn't differ much from the live tick one but haven't run a lot of tests yet. Next minor improvement is to prevent the indicator from plotting after StopTime if it is set to anything else than 00:00:00, which can be within a 24h period after the StartTime. This should help to minimize chart clutter. Other major improvements could only be done with archived tick data for HUPs and more accurate calculation. This would require quite some work, I don't know yet if I'll try it, who knows if the results would be worth it. Cheers VWAPMod_v095.zip VWAPMulti_v095.zip

Enjoy your summer Walter, who knows maybe you'll have an epiphany while relaxing on the beach, sipping on a cool drink (or whatsoever you do for fun during summer). Them girls on the beach really are a distraction, but I am sure that's not quite what you meant . Cheers

I think they call it Level II in their current version of the MBT Navigator but changed its name to Market Depth in the new beta version of the software. You just get a regular kind of DOM like for every other instrument. Now for FX that might be quite something but for futures it's not very impressive. Being a noob I don't really know how to make sense of it. Cheers

After some more toying around I got the StartTime to save in templates and workspaces, otherwise no further improvements. TOPFINDER doesn't seem to be all that necessary when there aren't many opportunities to put it to work. Maybe I'll implement it just for kicks. For completeness I've also added the OBV Mod which uses the median price and not the close for determining if volume should be added or subtracted. As a result levels differ a bit but formations are pretty much the same. Cheers VWAPMod_v091.zip OBVMod_v1.zip

Pat1, I totally agree, however I don't think it can be done and I haven't seen any other indicator do it. It would make finding the right launch point for the VWAP a lot easier. A workaround would be to have an indicator that launches several(5,10,whatever) VWAPs at once scattered around a selected bar. After chosing the right bar, simple replace the VWAPs with a single VWAP. I am currently trying to implement the Topfinder/Bottomfinder, unfortunately I haven't been able to figure out what the formulas in Lesson-14 mean. It should be quite simple, any help would be appreciated. Cheers

Hi guys, I fooled around with the VWAP, checked if it is designed like the MIDAS and can confirm it. This version is more tuned to the application with the MIDAS system, however I removed the live ticks code, it uses the median price for approximation as described in the documents. I wrote it on NT 6.5, so no idea if it is backwards compatible. Have fun VWAPMod_v09.zip

Hi guys, this should be the port of the ADXVMA CCI Blue Ray made Cheers ADXVMACCI_v0.9.zip

Welcome aboard Josh and thanks for all the great NT stuff, really rocks.

Awesome video btw Walter, knocks my socks off

Hiya all, I made a variation of the VWAP that will make working with it a bit easier. The VWAP itself is unchanged, but you'll be able to define more than one standard deviation in the indicator. Have fun and let me hear your suggestions and problems, thanks the original author Josh at http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/vb. Cheers VWAPMulti_v0.9.zip

Great , I'm already looking forward to the next video then

Hey guys, I've added a BreakTime to the VWAP by Josh, give it a shot and get back to me if you'd like to have some changes. Cheers VWAP_v0.1.6b.zip

Hi guys, that movie looks awfully nice. When I tried MB Trading FX to my eSignal data, I found out that the MB tick charts were much faster. It would be possible to try them as a data provider with a demo account and NT 6.5 Beta. But Walter's VWAP research already looks very promising. I tried to code a bit yesterday, but I was way too tired to accomplish anything. Keep up the good work guys, take care

Hi guys, Sorry I don't have much time for programming at the moment, although I would really like to. Maybe you find this VWAP indicator useful. Just tell me what you'd like to have added or contact the author Josh, who's very capable but also very busy. I am also wondering a bit how the VWAP could be applied to FOREX, because there is no volume info. Why not go with the currency futures? Since NT version 6.5 which is still in beta you can use MB Trading/EFX as a data feed, 'just' need to deposit 400 USD. The feed has no back fills/historical data though. See ya

Mike, I have high confidence in your abilities. It's just that partial recovery is a tricky thing. If you'd pull it off, it'd be awesome. Cheers and good luck
