  1. If I am correct, TN did not have EPS nor RS ranking in the old day. If I were you, I would call TN to know for sure the ranking features are there. Caveat: I am not a TN nor PVT user.
  2. Does TN platform provide its own EPS and RS ranking? Just saying.
  3. Hi. Anyone understand want to share? I have tried very hard to understand Lateral in this TL thread. But I don't see any clear writing on it from Spyder or others. For example, what is a dominance lateral? Is it increasing volume? I read that a Lateral ends with two closes outside the upper or lower boundaries. I also read from some that it ends with IBGS or OB too. Is a lateral a BBT or anything? Again, thanks so much for your contribution. :yes sir:
  4. Hi FT. Why do you mention minimum of three BBT's in a Tape? What causes more BBT's in a Tape? Is it VE? But I do see a Tape ends right on VE bar. Could you define VE that produces an additional pair of BBT's and that does not. If VE. do you modify the slope of the RTL of the Tape? Sometimes I wonder what to do with the extension of old RTL which seems to impact future price movements. [Fill in your questions.] Your clarification will help a lot for me as well as those who are still struggling. Anyone is invited to contribute. Thanks from my heart.
  5. Hi Stevecs. I am confused with your sentence. Do you mean renaming Tape as BBT and Channel as Tape? Or do you actually mean renaming BBT as Tape and Tape as Traverse? I can't follow the reply from FilterTip. Hi FilterTip. Are you still using YOUR convention here?
  6. Thanks so much for sharing the information. I wonder why no one, literally no one, has talked about it in here and ET. Is it something that somebody said "best to keep it to yourself"? BTW isn't the BBT you described the same as Fast Fractal Traverse mentioned in Iterative Refinement thread? The most helpful answer I found for BBT is when someone asked what was it and the response was Building Block Tape. Hah! :frustrated:
  7. If I were the one who designed the rule set of this method, call it a bull as you like. See who designed it. It is not a drill. It was put up as an actual complete trading method for a swing trader leaving plenty of money on the table. FYI his second complete method using slope pairs of bars which leaves not as plenty of money on the table does not use volume nor fractal context. I am not here to argue what best or not. Frankly, I have a hard time to make meaningful progress in learning price volume relationship. I thought why not put up his older works as food for thoughts.
  8. I have something to refresh your fond memory. No complication.
  9. Thanks for showing the correct Traverse in your chart. On your B2B gaussian from 14:45 (2/15) to 11:25 (2/19), could you give some clues why: (1) The trough of B2B is not on any increasing black volume bar such as 15:35 (2/15) but on 11:25 (2/17)? Is it because prior Red Traverse RTL was not broken out yet? (2) The last bar of B2B is not on 09:55 (2/19) or 10:45 (2/19) but on 11:25 (2/19). TIA.
  10. I got the impression that once one could differentiate any kind of formations inside any chart assuming he knows well about price volume relationship, he will be able to trade with a "confirmation" mind. Of course, I am not saying that I could do it.
  11. The first bars of the two boxes with the pointed arrows are OB. Unlike other Internal cases, an OB is painted with a bordered yellow box. Do you notice that some Stitches on the chart are not painted? Hmm...
  12. My bad, I don't mean to insult you. Personally, I have gone through a looping journey of thinking I found a 'magic' with a new idea but realized later it was just a 'one-time' magic. If you could make your student to see REAL magic with barely more than a year in learning the method disclosed here, you sure know the bottle-necks in learning this method. Why not squeeze a tiny portion of your time to put up a series of one or two examples with helpful and direct clues to clarify various topics in Spydertrader's concept of sequences which should go beyond application to ideal scenario? Then leave people here to learn by themselves. I appreciate a lot if you take up my suggestion.
  13. Magic, really? Wait till she gets into muddy hours. Sorry, can't help to burst out my thought about someone showing me how magical moving average was years ago. Definitely!
