  1. Thanks for your answer. I have thought about it and I have realized that, given the stage where I am, it will be more valuable, and also more pleasant, for me to focus on Wyckoff Lite, the pertinent sections of your ebook, this forum (and that includes participating and not only lurking ) and, of course, the study of charts and the market in real time. There is enough for the moment to keep me entertained ! Bern
  2. After going for the first time through the "Wyckoff Lite" selection, I would like to start reading now for the first time the "Course". Wyckoff says at the begining "...that everything in the Course is important. Nothing is superficial..." and he even wrote a warning: "Every paragraph -every line- in this course is vital -it was put for a very definite purpose. Do not neglect any part of it ...." And my doubt concern the parts of the Course dealing with point a figure charts. Do you advice to follow Wyckoff´s warning to the letter and read them or could they be skipped, at least in a first reading? Thanks.
  3. This was my morning today (all of this is simulator, not real money). Pink circle 1 was a short I was tempted to do as a DT reject resumption of downtrend but I didn´t since it was into 2756 pot support (overnight low) Blue circle 1 was a long I took after the mini DB (only seen in 15 sec chart) and RET at- of 2756. I exited at red line after the sharp /\ and the DL was broken. Pink circle 2 was a long I hesitated and missed as a RET. I was confused by the sharp comeback of the previous /\. I don´t know...smarter guys than me were long there during the chatroom Blue circle 2 was a long I took, maybe a very silly thing to do. I can only justify it by saying that somehow I was waiting for a RET there after the strong directional market before but maybe I should have taken into account that the wave down from the HOD was showing that there was clear selling pressure ....Again, the smart guys were short since reading that there has been already a LH after the HOD. I exited my loss at red line. I cheated and trade past the 90 min period: Blue circle 3 is a long that I took reading it as a HL after the retest of 2767,50-2768,75 (coming from the overnight session). I don´t know, maybe it should have been more prudent to wait till pink circle 3 RET. I exited, maybe too shy, at red line.
  4. In this msg http://www.traderslaboratory.com/forums/wyckoff-forum/13708-trading-journal-trading-log-3.html#post161709 you mentioned : "...I suggest that you're trying to apply the wrong strategy to the wrong instrument. If you're trying to trade RETs, REVs, and BOs, then whatever instrument you're trading ought to have at least some regard for S&R. This one has very little of that..." answering to a poster trying to trade rets and revs off S/R in Bund. Regarding futures, are stock indexes more "respectful" with S/R and then more suitable to trade with a Wyckoff approach? What about currency futures? CL? Could you please elaborate on this and what futures do you think regard the most support and resistance levels? In the same msg you also mention gaps as if they were problematic. Could you also please elaborate on this ? Thanks in advance.
  5. Thanks Db. Next time I will first use the search function
