Well, I personally don't think that these sources can be discoverer in the nearest future. The oil industry has just HUGE lobby that is going to stifle any project endangering oil companies profits. The alternative sources in my opinion can be discovered only when there's a clear sign of all global resources depleting.

Yup, I also think that EUR is going to correct some of recent losses in the week(s) ahead. EU authorities rhetoric was quite surprising to the upside - except for good old Bundesbank that called the aforementioned 'savior of the euro' a 'plunderer of the nest eggs of citizens' :haha:
-
I guess this position would be a rather long-term since right after the intervention JPY is going to have a strong depression lasting for a week or even more.

One of the 1st lines in your link: I guess you would be surprised :embarassed:

Simple: they have either commission fees or huge spreads instead.

It's too early I think. BoJ now is just expressing it's concerns verbally, and the very intervention might happen when USDJPY falls to 76.50+.

HI bobcollett, can you please explain this? Cause I don't really get

Well, if Greece leave the EU, then Spain, Portugal, Ireland or even Italy will follow, and the EU eventually is going to fall like a house of cards. I think EU authorities don't want to force Greece to quit since it would cost them a lot. BTW, here is another great article stating that Spain should leave EU before the Greece.

I found a good picture of EU and Greece debts. Sorry if it already was posted here: Eurozone debt web: Who owes what to whom?

Yes, I do use S/L orders. For me it's the best way to limit my risks in the environment of heightened volatility.

The main lesson I learned is do not try convince yourself that you have "a sense of the market". The market always has new tricks for you, that can easily halve your deposit.

So here are some impressions from having demo accounts in FC. First and the foremost - multiple platforms. There are ExpressFX (for those who want to start trading, that platform has user-friendly interface), Rumus (exclusive platform developed by FC), ActTrader (best choice I think) and wide-known MT4. Most of these platforms have mobile versions so you can trade through your iPhone or Android-phone, which is very comfortable. During almost 3 weeks of trading on ActTrader I haven't experienced any major requotes, lags etc. Yes, in periods of heightened volatility sometimes it's difficult to open a deal but it's a quite common thing for all the brokers and platforms I tried. BTW, the customer service is always online (and judging by their ability to stay calm and friendly to me examining them they have lots of patience). Some traders can consider the level of leverage about 1:50 as a disadvantage but I think it's a good way to learn traders how to control their own risks. And now I seriously think of opening a real account in FC.

The Positive Benefits of Exercise for Traders
Landser replied to TheNegotiator's topic in Trading Psychology
I work out at the gym 3-4 times a week. In my training I prefer barbell, dumbbells and chinning bar. After a couple of months of exercising I noticed that the pain in the neck and the lower part of the back disappeared, the whole myotonus significantly improved. Strongly recommend everyone not to just sit in front of the monitor but sometimes do some sit-ups and jumps. -

Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Amy Winehouse... Feels so sad. But the sadder thing is Justin Bieber's existance.

My first trading pair was EURUSD and even now I make the most of the deals with it. The explanation is simple - this pair is the most popular among FX traders so the liquidity is large enough. Also many brokers offer the minimal spread on this instrument (2-4 pips against 15 on something like GBPCAD).

Nice experience, thanks for sharing!

Agreed. Of course MT4 is the most wide-spread platform but since you're a new to FX and haven't got used to a specific soft it would be quite easy to get into other existing trading platforms. Good luck!

My friends recommended me their Rumus platform which according to them is very comfortable. Also the EURUSD spread here is just 3 pips. But for a newbie like me the most attractive feature in Forex Club is the opportunity to participate in seminars and educational programs. Will try to open a demo account to test them

Thanks for the links! According to their NFA history they had only 1 claim which I think is very good for the broker of such size.

What's easier to do - consistent profits or spikes?
Landser replied to brownsfan019's topic in Trading Psychology
Hmm, seems like good idea. Will definately give it a try, thanx Obsidian! -
Hi guys, I'd like to know if anyone of you has an experience of trading with that Forex broker. There're lots of contradictory feedbacks on the Internet while my friends tell me that this company is well-regulated (by NFA AFAIK) and quite reliable. Any comments please?

Landser replied to brownsfan019's topic in Trading Psychology
For me stability is better than a sudden jackpot. The trading process based on sudden huge swings looks like gambling - you can earn a lot or you can lose all your money. That's why my choice is the profit for about 3-5% monthly. -
A question to gold bugs: how do you think the gold will move if Greece defaults? Will it be able to test 1800 and if so when this level will be achieved? Thanks.
