  9. Summary of open orders and positions:
  10. eur/gbp...0.7985 is holding so far but have to move above 0.8000 tomorrow else 0.7940 is not out of question...meantime, 4H chart is turning bearish
  11. if talking about gold - usd/jpy correlation, here is a chart
  12. although we witness usd sell-off, it is the EZ suffering the most...probably EU is capable of growing faster when the global economy is in a good shape...but in a crisis situation we see how slow they are...they are still planning, trying to implement necessary things for a real economic union (which i find impossible to achieve due to the huge cliff between the northern and southern countries)...anyway, I believe that gold and usd will not die for a long time
  13. When I started trading currencies I spent plenty of time to find a good strategy that I can code on metastock..some months later I decided that I can't fully automate a strategy because the market behavior, trends etc changes. Besides, there are movements which makes no sense on technical bases (caused by thin volumes during holidays or high volatility after a major news announcement). Then I moved to next category. I had a strategy with sets of rules I followed...but that was no different than the first one..there is no difference between using a computer or your brain if you blindly follow the same rules... Now I still follow a strategy but I know how to adapt myself to different market conditions, expectations...

after watching that video, i would like to ask 2 things: could you define market direction? and more importantly why would you care?
  15. that is true...even on a demo account, people should stick to their rules.

    AudUSd

1.0370 may slow aud/usd decline as it is the bottom of the cloud and also 50% retracement...unless it climbs back above 1.0440, will be looking for shorting opportunities
  17. Summary of open orders and positions:
  18. will be watching 1748 and 1790...no trades until we close below or above these levels
  19. If it is daytime I spend time in the front yard garden, if it is night time I just get some pop-corn and watch the tv series I like, if it is weekend I go the beaches or waterfalls around the province...these really help me to forget about things...
  20. their mt4 is running smooth...cant remember when was the last time I had any connecting issues during news-events... meanwhile, earlier today opened 2 trades, shorted gbp/usd but was too busy to post here..
  21. Summary of open orders and positions:
  22. nzdcad is not one of the pair that I watch regularly but anyway today caught my attention...expecting a breakout to the upside after consolidation is over
