  1. I am guaging rotation to get short but need stuff to get aligned.. We closed gap bt we still have NVPOC @ 36.00 hanging out but must see the planets align... :missy:
  2. :helloooo: Same here..but we are getting rotation so I am stalking long BUT a number of things are in conflict to run in here - as you say lunch, etc... I actually got sells up near the top but it conflicted with my expectations so I am still looking for the rotation and see what we can do .. just watching it...:missy: Good move exiting... IMHO.. Still watching rotation...
  3. I was just going to post 47.50 then 48.75 NVPOC...Also the CLosing low swing was 47.50 so that is an important number up top... I am stalking a long but need it to rotate otherwise R/R doesn't work with that target so close...
  4. Agree..good observation..Tx for that.. Unless we take out HOD a possible outcome we have taken the "easy" stops" IMHO... so now what? A rotational day? A Neutral Day..the slugfest continues betw Buyers/Sellers... Are Buyers getting tired... ? Don't know .. I look at the LOD F period test as a failed auction..similar to what we had on 2/9 so this can mean interesting move up from here... into Yest VA... knitting...
  5. UPdate: As posted I took my scale at 41.50 level.. why: MCLVN: 41.50...test of today low... open gap 41.25, etc... Now what? Rotation.. Where are stops sitting nearby? I look at 15m & 30m bars for that.. I am flat now which is why I scale at "logical" targets... If you are all in/out it is much harder.IMHO.. Basically the market is going to test midpoint, OR/Open... Will Sellers show up again? Are Buyers taking back control? We should get some indications soon.. IMHO...
  6. Agree that's my take also..so the 44.25ish area was a good place to add or short with a fail point close by.. very tight risk point... as they say if you're going to take a shot then do it where the risk point is manageable.. If we can take out 41.50 Mlvn then things get interesting to downside..we might test it so I am going to scale there and then continue my hold..looking for the Grand Canyon.. 36.00 ish..just a NVPOC Helmet on... Edit: My Comment on NVPOC or any level are just Areas of Interest..not hard targets... not recommending anyone follow this other than out of curiosity and how the levels generated by VP can assist in a market view...
  7. NO Proof: Just some thoughts on a short I worked a very "logical" setup.. Sold against yesterdays Midpoint + GBX VWAP.. First taget/scale 42.00 against MicroLVN 41.50..holding for ? NVPOC 36.00 give or take... Another Give-away CLVN 52.20 was a head banger for the market... over several sessions Anyway that's my take this morning.. At 9:19cst: 44.25 is a current developing lvn on the profile and near current mid-point so depending on rotation I "might" scale back in.. or scalp to improve me position.. or just work on my knitting..
  8. Took a quick short @ 49.50 scale 47.75 target mid-point 47.00...a quicky...no proof... MP/Neutral Day..probability to vclose near middle/mid-point...
  9. Yes it stinks.. A major area got tested in GBX again.. 1352.50..so that can be a problem but we keep coming off that area... NOthing says of course that they won't rotate this up to the 49.00 area...that will get me out & then I will have to reevaluate... I really prefer not to sit in this especially during this time of day when a counter-rotation is likely..
  10. Good Day Traders: I am nursing a short here.. A bit annoyed at myself for not covering a bit more when we came off 1342.75.... ..sold them initially @ 47.00 and have scaled back in so am sitting here doing my knitting... I didn't have much for reference points but on the Micro profile using the current balance area since 2/2 I had 47.50 as a MLVN so I leaned on it..also as of 11:00 ish we kept banging our little ES head on it and we have a swing high @ 48.25..... I have a scale sitting @ 42.00 ish and then we do have IMHO based on a measuting objective on the 15m chart... takes us down to 38.00 - 39.00 area (potentially).. MicroNVPOC 39.25 + NVPOC 36.00. NO clue if they will come into play today.. Depends if we can get a 15m close under 45.00 + holding 47.75 on the upside, IMHO... That's my take on it... as of 11:40cst Hope you are all having a good day... I just came up for air & though I'd visit...
  11. Oppa.. (I think) Music from Zorba The Greek playing here..going to crush some grapes, make some wine... and drink it all..:helloooo: Thanks for a great week... Have a teriffic weekend... Tom
  12. Just to keep things straight I am out of my last position..I should have taken the wife on a European Vacation instead... I just looked out the window it is snowing like crazy..almost can't see across the street..maybe that's it!!! I couldn't see my screen :missy: Regards, Tom
  13. BTW, I nibbled on a long down here... only because we went for some stops and have a dble test... Also the profile is "leaning" North... Maybe there will be a squirt up to that 40.00 level and maybe a bit beyond... I've seen spaghetti stuck on a wall move faster than this... Tom Days like this can really set me back.. After a Chopfest I have a tough time getting in sync and recovering... I have in the past done (retail) scalping but the cost is too high to make it worthwhile.. Today's trade you have to be nimble and shoot for apx 3pts on rotations... not the end of the world but there is really no room for slop... This weekend I will take today apart and replay the heck out of it... Anytime I have a losing day I consider it part of my continuing ed, tuition... One thing I hate is having to repeat the course... :crap: I am fortunate that I do well most days but the darn Chop is where I work hard for very little or it costs me for the adventure... What has always grounded me, especiaslly daytrading is that I can have 100% winners one day - usually once or twice a week and then using the same methodology with a different market condition..get beat up.. I am not yet able to recognize change until I have waded into the poop... for a few trades.. Just throwing this out there just in case someone else has this experience also... Regards, Tom
  14. I don't need any of it right now probably..but I do like to check out what is new..also anytime they make it more efficient is great... Chad is the best... Tom
  15. So which version that has the enhancements is ok? Or I could just wait for the regular relaease... Tom
  16. Yes..sorry ofr confusion.. VVAH: 38.50, DVPOC 36.00, VVAL: 35.75 Tom
  17. I'll check it out..I wonder why my software didn't prompt me to update.. Tom
  18. 39.00, 36.00 just shifted, 36.00 Tom Are we talking Reg Value areas or Volume Value areas? Tom
