I see dead people ... Do u think that has anything to do with it?
-
Can someone please tell me what happened to Huddy? He was offering lifetime memberships and he closed shop and dissapeared? Has anyone heard anything about him or his partner?
-
You should never just assume because you know what happens.. I can promise u I am neither of those two people. I simply asked a question in the wrong room, I apologized but the sarcasm continues. Very sad

I had tried google before I came here as well as the TS forum (which is where I expected to find it but to no avail. The first 3 listings I found on google, were for people with programing experience which I have little of (Although I have learned how to copy and paste for easy language). I saw nothing on google that could be copied over to TS Easy Language. Searching further into google was again for a person with programing experience or downloading from unknown sites that may very well contain virus's. Again, I do apologize for posting in the wrong room originally. With that being said, if anyone does have the programing for a Vwma for TS or if dutch is still looking for work, I would appreciate any help. Thanks

I apologize for posting in the wrong room.

Hi Dutch If you r offering help still... I was looking for a TS indicator (ELD) for a Vwma (Volume weighted moving average). In the indicator list on TS, it has a weighted moving average but unless I am missing it, I cannot find a Vwma. Should you decide to take on this mission, good luck (and I will be looking forward to the results). This coded request will self destruct in 60 seconds. :helloooo: Bond, James Bond (cooper) lol

I am looking for a Vwma (volume weighted moving average) for Tradestation. If anyone has seen or has an ELD for this I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you in advance.

UrmaBlume, If you have a chance or the time could you possibly post an ELD with your intra bar, volume percentage counter. I think it's a great tool for those who are working on and learning to read price action. Thank you (and Tams) for your work.

Looks like the interest in the Volume Splitter is finally slowing down.

I am just curious if anyone has tried this indicator called Decision Bar Trading? It is based mainly on momentum trading or in this case what I would call breakout trading. Has anyone tried this one or have any information about it? Thanks in advance. http://www.decisionbar.com/

Again, I always like to thank the contributors of this Forum as it is by far the most intelligent and thought provoking group I have found anywhere on the Internet. That being said... I know the splitter has been the main focus here but at the bottom of permalink #355 (which David posted), Bill from EOT I thought had a very interesting concept. It was basically combining the volume of the ES, NQ, YM and RUSSELL into one volume indicator and using this indicator to find price divergence. I found it very interesting to see if one (or more) of those markets were leading the pack or driving the price on the day, if the divergence showed any importance? In his examples it showed a definite correlation. Any other thoughts or idea's on this concept? Thanks for sharing Bill.

Check out the moves from today. Now its up to you on management but I think it would be hard pressed not to be able to walk away with profit after today... Trade 1... 61.8 retracement short. deadalus (or any other friendly soul) Any chance of getting this in an ELD form for TS? Please:question: -
Thank you very much for the ELD for the Blowfish #4. It is much appreciated. If I want the candles (or the bars) to measure orders from 1 contract to 50, wouldn't I simply put in a 1 at the small block filter and a 50 at the large block filter? On the same chart if I wanted to compare those trades to trades above 200 contracts, would it be small block filter at 200 and and large block filter at 9999? In fact, my minute chart looks more like a ladder going up and down. Can this indicator be used on a tick chart as well as a minutes chart? My tick chart does not function the same, thats why I ask? Would this have anything to do with reseting the Delta at each bar to over zero? Thank you for any help:)

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. I will owe you a huge favor (whoever can help). I am just learning easy Language and cannot get this into a Tradestation ELD. Can someone please help? I would be happy to make a donation to the forum. Until today I thought Iwas using #4 but Tasuki pointed out that this is the "Blowfish #4 model". This is one of the finest indicators I have found especially being a price action person. I will be eternally grateful if someone can put this in a ELD Form for Tradestation. Thank you in advance and sorry for the hassle.

Is there an ELD for the Blowfish Vol Splitter #4? I have tried to search for it but I seem to find the earlier ones only. I know it's a pain in the rear for those of you who are programers and I am just starting to learn the Easy Lang. but this indicator would be nice to download if at all possible. Thank you in advance. TL is the best!!!

Blowfish, do happen to remember if this was your third or fourth program of the volume splitter. Thanks in advance and for all your contributions to the forum.
-
Thank you BlowFish. This is your first copy of the volume splitter. It is on the top of page 10. Again because I don't know the language, what is the difference between this and vol spillter two? On the bottom of page 12 is that an improvement to Vol Splitter one? Thanks again for all your work. This may be the best indicator I have found to date.

AgeKay, I agree with your reasoning and would like to add one more point. In general, when these large institutional players come to the market, in most cases they are not concerned with a tick. They want the orders filled quickly and effiently. These large players are not trading in the same time frame as most. The 500 contracts they just bought or sold can be a day, week or monthly position. The profit target could very well be a 20 to 50 point trade. The only time a tick may be of some importance is when the trade is a hedge and they need it filled quickly to protect the hedge price. Even in a situation like this, they cannot use a limit order and risk not getting filled. They have generally factored in a tick, two or three depending on the markets volatility and the size of the order. BlowFish, I think your efforts on this indicator have been fantastic! I have used the second one you programed, simply because someone was kind enough to put it into an ELD form (I know you don't have TS). As I have said before, I have zero programing skills and can't find the time to learn. I do have a few questions about the one in ELD. If its put on a day time only chart, the info does not really show much until after 30 or 40 minutes. Do you (or anyone else) recommend leaving the length on 20 or can it be used in a shorter length? I tried it on a 24 hour but the volume difference is so great after the open that it still takes time to adjust. Any ideas? How did the volume splitter one differ from two? I know it's asking a lot but if anyone has the time to put the first one in to ELD form, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again Blowfish for some great work. :applaud::applaud:

IMHO, The indicator itself is very clever and valuable if used correctly. You can set the indicator to read orders only greater then 100. You can then set the same indicator on the same chart one level under the first one. This indicator you can set to read only orders 50 are less. This indicator being used on your chart in two seperate levels (say levels 2 and 3) is now providing some very valuable information especially if you are a short term trader. If you see the 100+ has been quiet and the 50 and less has been selling, it gives you an idea of whats happening in the market. During that time period only small traders have been selling the market. If you are watching the indicators and now the 100+ starts moving up, you see the larger traders or large firms are buying the market. Take all that information and put it together and you now have a story. All the 50 and less traders will more likely then not need to cover or buy the market as they see the larger orders pushing the market higher. If you read price action you understand this. This indicator simply displays it on a chart and in any contract size. Their must be something very different about programming this indicator because it seems to have baffled all. Which rarely happens in this forum. :crap:

I know very little about programnning but can tell you that the Volume Splitter by EOT works as well on TS as it does on Ninja. This may be a very obvious comment at this point and if it is I do apologize for the ignorance of this post, From a non-program person, it seems as if some are saying that this indicator cannot be produced for TS? Yet, EOT does provide it for TS, Ninja and I believe E-signal as well.

Robotman, ty for sharing something you have worked long and hard on. If you hang around here I think you will find what you give you get back in spades. This is by far the most professional and trader friendly forum you will find on the internet. In regards to the volume splitter, I had seen the EOT site about 6 weeks ago and finally needed to see it live. They have a free trial and show all the indicators live. I have been trading a long time and this was one of the best indicators I have seen. I am a firm believer in reading price action and this thing is good. With time and sales being the closest thing to a real time indicator, this splitter runs a close second. They know people are trying to copy it and joke around that it will not be duplicated. This forum has some very sharp people in it, I will put my money on TL.

What this person is doing is programing is time and sales (on Tradestation). Using Tradestations Time and sales, you can input it to show orders in any quantity you want. In this case, he is representing the indicator to move higher as Time and sales flashes buy orders of 100 or more. The larger the order along with the frequency, has the indicator moving up. Using the same thought process on the orders of 5 contracts and less (which make up a great deal of the time and sales format). In the middle of the day when things are quiet, you will notice the large order line will move very little and will generally chop just above and under the zero line. On the other hand, this is when you will see the 5 contracts and less line moving around more. It's generally a choppy time of the day and the smaller traders are usually doing much of the trading (which is obviously not a good time to be in the market). Unfortunately I am not a programmer but have used the information he is referring to for many years. He is simply (well maybe it not simple) plotting the times and sales on a chart. I hopes that helps a little

Tam and Fredd Thanks for the help adding those to indicators. Tam the original work is appreciated and fredd the conversion to ELD is also much appreciated. Fredd, on your ELD titled awesome ELD, under Tams AC-AC, is that the actual ELD for the ac-ac above? Finally, Tam, can you tell me what type of chart and size you are using on the AC-AC (on the top post)? Thank you both very much.

Re: Free System Not really sure what your looking for but I can tell you from personal experience, making less actual trades in a day will make more money. Having a goal for the day and quiting (or dramatical cut trading size) has made my trading more effecient and less stressful.
