    AudUSd

Did they make the cut or is it still concerns over China? AUD.USD trading at 1.037 level now. CYP
  2. Hmm...maybe dyslexia has set in for me and I actually meant high first, then low... As Josh says "ACH"...still holding short at 1407.50...
  3. Tom - looking at 1402 target before rotation back up. We've drifted back down prior to open, so I'm thinking a low will be made first before the turn back up towards the 1410 area. Could provide an okay range to trade today...we'll see. CYP
  4. For me...that "Hail Mary Pass." turned into an interception and the other team still has the ball!! I like to think that the CLVN is YOUR number so that I will not have to take any ownership of anything bad that happens in my trading, because it was YOUR number. I would hate to have to take responsibility for my own trading decisions. Seriously though, I do appreciate the MP commentaries (from all of you guys). At some point, I'll make my own level calls, but for right now, I'm still an MP Jedi-in-training... Regards, CYP
  5. I swerved "left" instead of "right" on this one...to which a mack truck hit me. Still brushing the dirt/debris off. Where did that late surge come from? Sheesh! Can I get a "mulligan" on the last 15 minutes, please? Tom - your 1416.50 CLVN prognostication hurts me more than you'll know. There's always tomorrow... CYP
  6. Tom - I'm sorry to say this, but I had a stroke after reading the first page of this thread...Excedrin is not going to help me. If someone could call the paramedics, I'd appreciate it... All this talk of intuition, ego, conscious/subconscious competence/incompetence, etc. is making me thirsty...so I think I'll go have a few beers and see if I can get my consciousness to be one with my subconsciousness, in order to get a better idea of what's going on with the markets...hopefully, it doesn't take me to all the way to unconsciousness... CYP
  7. ...one of the traits I'm trying to control...definitely got me during last 15 minutes of cash market. Got out at 92 for 1.50 scalp. Of course, the market continues afterwards to settle at 1394.25...oh well. Overall, good trading week for me. Every day is a learning experience -- both about the market and more importantly, about myself (...I know, very cliche, but very true...) Thanks Tom, Josh, and N for all your viewpoints and banter -- it helps me stay grounded, which is something that has been missing for a while. Have a great weekend and we'll see you on Monday (...or Sunday night, for you overseas GBX players) CYP
  8. Mystic, Curious to see if you (or anyone else) saw anything special with AUD.USD surge at the last 15 minutes of US cash close. It had been rangebound most of the day until then. I'm trying to understand more about AUD.USD behavior. CYP
  9. Tom -- I couldn't do it...got out at 92. Will buy if we move towards 93, but right now, I'm flat for the day and possibly the weekend... CYP
  10. Yes...whoever pressed the green button yesterday...please do it again. I know Josh didn't like you for pressing that button, but it would be a good weekend gift for Tom and I...(and Josh too? I forget if he went long today...)
  11. Let's go Tom -- do your magic and get us up to 95, at least...(do I sound biased?)... CYP
  12. Yes...the classic "hail mary pass" trading technique... You are really digging deep, Tom. I love it!!! Still holding from my poor 90.5 long entry...but oh well, at least I'm on the correct side of the market (for now)... CYP
  13. I love Josh's "...ACH" caveat...very pertinent. Tom's "...the enemy is me..." quote is also right on the mark. Fun day to see where we go from here...I probably need to go buy a helmet so I can join Tom. CYP
  14. Is the market taking a breather at the 90 level before pushing higher or will we repeat yesterday's action? Looks like the low has already been made (for now). This might be a crazy suggestion, but what are your thoughts about finishing the day around the 96/97 level? Anyway, I jumped in long at 90.5 and will look to target 94.5 initially. Will change my mind if we start heading back towards 87/88 level. CYP
  15. I took a long at 82, playing rotation back up. Target 87.50. Currently hovering around 84. CYP Updated: Out at 87 flat...didn't want to push my luck with 87.50.
  16. Out at 87.50...now I wait to see how higher we go before rotation time. It's nice to watch from the sidelines for a little bit...breathing easier now.
  17. yes...please...please...87.50 my target for getting out and prep for downturn... I'm liking how everyone is making the calls here -- seems more in tune with the markets today than yesterday... CYP
  18. Tom, I reversed my position at 84 and looking to get out at 87/88 area...and then see what happens. I lean towards going back down unless Mr Draghi says something super positive... CYP
  19. Thanks Josh - got my 84...now, waiting...congrats on your 4 pts. Anyone else seeing a possible surge back up towards 87/88 level before resuming downtrend? It'll be interesting to see if 81 happens? CYP Edit: Looks like Josh already beat me to the punch in asking about 87/88...slow typer, I am.
  20. Shorted at 87. I'm not quite as brave to try for 81, so I'm shooting for 84 as a good cover point, then wait to re-enter long. CYP
  21. Josh, what happened in China? That's a nice 5 point slide on ES. How much lower will it go? We're going to have fun in the morning...or right now if you in the mix... I think Tom had mentioned a rotation to 1394...or was it you? Either way, looks like we're going there. CYP
  22. Tom (and Josh) - thanks for the perspectives and candid thoughts. It's already been said here, but it's interesting to read the differing viewpoints and how each of us acts/reacts to what we see, even though we're looking at the same information. It was a truly long day for me, since I was long and waiting for 1401 to hit, so I could sell and reverse. It wasn't until the last 30 minutes before this happened...but the good thing was that it did happen. One good trade? I liked Josh's post about 1401 smelling like a trap as it eventually started selling off into the close. My bias is still slightly negative (just like Tom's). The Bulls were able to hold the 1400 level (barely), but I felt the conviction was not quite there...we'll see how tomorrow pans out. Take care, CYP
  23. Thanks onesmith - I was asleep during that part of the session... :crap: Where's my 1401? I'd like to go work out and get a massage, like Josh... CYP
  24. Speaking of which -- I should probably go take care of some business before an accident happens at the desk... Hard to believe the the opening is still the HOD (excluding GBX high)...if we don't break 1401 level today, then I'm definitely joining Tom in the short camp (not to be mistaken with the short bus)... However, still long from 1397...initial target is still 1401...before I start considering where to rotation down will be. CYP
  25. Josh - I joined long at 1397 and it immediately dropped to 1396. :crap: Still holding long - looking for initial target at 1401...hoping it makes it to Tom's high predication of 1407. CYP
