To cover market 24 hours needs a coop of at least 3 people on 3 continents, each staring at PC 8 hours (8h x 3 = 24 hours) and waking one another for resetting the trades when market direction change. 3 separate accounts while observing charts with same indicators.   2. Statistics is definitely a better way of tackling the issue (issue: to stay in the trend overnight or not).
  3. [...] Holding positions overnight exposes you to substantial and unnecessary risk. How about holding position overnight on trailing stop? Some trends continue overnight...
  4. Unreliable on its own. Always remember as rule, that previous (historical) results are independent of subsequent (see official version of probability theory). Any idea built on previous price action is BS.
  5. at your vol spike, the RSI was crossing 1/2. And if you were uncertain about this cross, you should've checked the lower time frame. So what is the issue? Forget trading 1 min maybe is the point?
