  1. Hi, Re. Emini I often trade the open using a custom indicator called "Better Pro Am", written for Tradestation, but also available on NinjaTrader and Multicharts. The way the scalp works is straightforward: the indicator Better Pro Am marks out those tick bars where the average no of contracts traded is high - indicating 'professionals' or 'bigger players' are taking early positions and trying to push the market in a certain direction. The entry is then a break higher or lower of that professional bar. I usually target 2 points. This gets some profit up on the board before the major directional move of the day takes shape after the open is complete. If this sounds interesting, then have a look at the website below of the guy who designed the indicators. They are very useful. Emini Trading – How the Emini-Watch.com Methodology is Different Hope this is helpful.
  2. Hello All, If anyone can shed some light on this little obstacle, I would be appreciative... I am using a custom indicator based on the John Ehlers' sine wave. It essentially prints plot points on a chart representing support and resistance areas. I am trying to write a strategy that essentially buys at open when support points have been plotted underneath - see graphic attached [The plot line 'Support' is printed at price 1113.50] What is the specific syntax in EasyLanguage to reference an indicator's Plot points or its inputs? I currently have: If Price >= _BetterSineWave "Support" then... However, EL requires a true/false expression where "Support" is typed. Any ideas? TS window1.pdf
