- More recent pivots tend to have higher significance. - Pivots in confluence with fib ratios tend to have higher significance - Pivots formed by an active market tend to have higher significance than pivots formed during congested market Easy way to learn this is to mark all pivots as major/intermediate/minor alongwith levels on historical chart, while you keep scrolling to the right. PS: Searching for stationary rules in market is a sure way to lose money.

Being somewhat busy I didn't post the signals for short side, nevermind. ZION has gone in a short squeeze mode, moving stop to 17.48.

Hey thanks... after all the 'debate' the most important metric just skipped my thoughts. I've been trading a modified version of divergence for long enough. It works good in trending markets, works best in volatile markets which we have since September. The only situation when it may give headache is trading a single instrument (say ES) on a time frame bigger than 15 mins; that is because you get very few signals.

That will take some time.. hopefully someone else will help me with it. I'm tied up these days, will be taking one week vacation from Saturday. Edit: I will like to remind that these are not actual trades. Initially I wanted to post only the signals, but was piqued to post about exit/stop after the strategy was called BS.

This is very important for my trading too... see here, I made two live calls in APPL based only on the change in relative strength (or IS). I have a feeling our trading has lots of elements in common... will look forward to interact more with you.

Thanks for the comment... it seems that you are calling IS what I call 'internal relative strength'... how exactly do you measure it?
