Here is today's Box. I add a Blue 200 sma, and a Red 50 sma. As you can see the trend is up just barely, Let's see what happens. Remember 10 Pip S/l, 20 Pip TP.

I will post today's Box at 08:05 EDT. With the addition of the 200 sma and a 50 sma. The trade would only go in the direction of the trend.

I don't think it will become too complicated if we add 2 MAs, say 200 sma and 50 sma. Then obviously if the 50 sma is higher than the 200 it is trending up, etc.

Wouldn't that lead specs to wonder if there might be a sooner than expected rate hike in US? = stronger USD.

Even though the Thread says "Beginners", I am starting it in the Forex section because it's what I am most familiar with. I would like participation from beginners and veterans alike. Lets see if we can put together something where a beginner would be able to make a few Pips a week. Let's keep it as simple as possible ( K.I.S.S. ). Let's try to use as few indicators as possible. Let's have a least a 2:1 R/R. We won't discuss position size, or % of return/loss on account ( if the thread is active, these things can come later ). If someone thinks they can improve on it, please make a suggestion. NOTE TO BEGINNERS ! Do not trade these systems. If you think they have potential, then back test them on at least 100 trades. Then forward test them ( DEMO ) on at least 100 trades. Here's my submission. It's a simple breakout called the NY Box. I didn't create it, it's been around for while. EUR/USD. 5 min chart. Draw a box over the candles from 6 am to 8 am. Make sure you include the high and the that was reached during that time period. When a candle closes above or below the Box, Trade in that direction. Let's use a 10 pip S/l and a 20 Pip TP. Todays Box would have looked like this:

TWO WOMEN - are having a coffee catching up: So, how was your evening last night? A disaster! After getting home, my dear beloved hubby wolfed down in 4 minutes the dinner that took me all afternoon to prepare, "granted" me 3 minutes of passionate love before rolling over and falling asleep 2 minutes later. Nightmare, and you? Oh, mine was incredible.. My hubby was waiting for me to get back home from work. He took me out for a very romantic dinner. We then walked back home, under an amazing starry sky, along the canal, for a good two hours. Once home, he lit up all the candles and we had foreplay which lasted for an hour. We then made love for another hour and we chatted until late.. It was wonderful... THEIR TWO MEN - meet at the pub... So, how was your evening last night? Incredible! When I came home, the food was just ready. I ate, we shagged and I fell asleep. Wonderful night, I love my wife, You? A nightmare! I came home earlier to fix the kitchen shelf. When I switched on the power drill, the fuse went out. The whole house went into darkness. Couldn't find the bloody fuse box, so when my better half arrived, I took her out for dinner. It was the only thing to do to avoid getting an ear-full...! The Dinner was so expensive that I couldn't afford a taxi, so we had to walk home. It took ages and once there, the house was still in the dark, obviously, so I had to light all these f..k..g candles avoid knocking everything over. I was so wound up and pissed off that it took me an hour to get a hard on, and another one to finish. In the end, I was still wound up and it took me ages to fall asleep, while she kept yapping on and on about everything and nothing.......disaster.

I wanted to take this opportunity to say how much I have enjoyed being a member of TL, and to say Goodbye to everybody. As it turns out, I found out late Friday Night that I was one of three winners of the $656,000,000.00 Mega Millions Lottery Jackpot. After the next week or two, when I collect my winnings, I will be touring the South Pacific looking for a suitable Island to buy. Farewell my friends.

Since it's the end of the month here are some interesting stats on A/U: In the past month. Made New High 1 Time Made New Low 10 Times.

BTW........ Yesterday we saw a YTD high on E/A.

While I am actively trading I use a mental S/L. If I must leave an open trade unattended I enter an S/L. If I have a trade that is well in profit, but I expect more from it, I will set a stop @BE, or BE+10. No sense letting a good trade turn into a bad trade.

Looking to go long again if I can get in @12810.....

I don't set an alarm clock to rise. I must be under the weather a bit. I over slept by 6 hours today, so I didn't get a chance to watch anything... :embarassed:
