  9. Hi Gringo, FYI Let's say you opened two 50K long positions on a pair with the idea of TPing 1 position for 25 pips and the second position at 50 pips. It's not necessary. You can open one position for 100k. when the trade goes 25 pips in to profit (hopefully) you can sell 50K and this will take half your trade off the table. Either as Market or Entry since there is no hedging allowed ( oanda never allowed hedging even back in the pre, new CFTC rules. Hope this helps.
  10. Blasted? not at all. good post with some valid points. As you say, everyone is different. Some want a little more "hand holding, some none at all.
  11. I have heard a few good things about AVA as well. One thing I forgot to mention about OTC is that they finance the cost of the course for you. At the time the "All Inclusive" Master was somewhere in the area of $26K

  13. To me watching USD/JPY is like watching paint dry. They are both thought of to a certain degree as "safe haven" currencies. If we see 13750 in EUR/USD then 14000 is not far behind, however a correction is due, 3 to 5%. More than 7% and I would think about changing my game plan. I am bearish on GBP/USD. more specifically looking for a large correction on GBP/JPY.

  19. So pray tell, what is the name of the book?
  20. Ahhh... now you are starting to get close to the heart of the matter with trading. When I attend a seminar or webinar it's not about learning a new system. I am up to my eyebrows with MAs, ossilators, MACDs, support and resistance, supply and demand, overbought or oversold. What I look for is, does the Presenter "THINK' like a trader.
  21. If it's just an occasional piece try Ebay. If you are looking to make a business out of it you'll have to do some research I'm afraid.
  22. I first listened to Django about 30 years ago. Did the piece also mention that he only had 3 fingers on his left ( fret ) hand?
